- Laying the foundation for the growth of indie game developers through practical training and networking
- Customized startup lectures and developer networking sessions for prospective entrepreneurs and early-stage startups
The Chungnam Content Agency organized an event to strengthen the entrepreneurial capabilities of indie game developers and build a collaborative network.
The Chungnam Global Game Center, under the Chungnam Content Agency (Acting President Son Byeong-seon), announced that it held the ‘2026 Indie Game Park 2nd Networking’ event at the Chungnam Content Enterprise Support Center Event Hall on the 8th.

This event was organized for prospective entrepreneurs and early-stage startups participating in the 2nd Indie Game Park, and was conducted as a networking program to provide practical training necessary for the startup process and to expand exchanges among participating developers.
During the event, participants were presented with uniforms and business cards to foster a sense of belonging as members of the 2nd Indie Game Park. This was followed by a special lecture on essential business management practices that early-stage startups must know.
The special lecture consisted of two parts. It reviewed legal issues frequently encountered during startup operations, including taxation and labor matters, and introduced basic concepts necessary for initial funding strategies and attracting investment. In particular, the training garnered significant interest from participants as it focused on core practical matters that indie game developers often overlook during the startup process, such as designing equity structures and protecting copyrights.
In addition, a networking program was prepared to expand collaboration opportunities among participating developers.
In this program, themed “Give and Take,” participants exchanged business cards and shared notes detailing their respective teams’ strengths and areas needing improvement. Based on this, they explored collaboration possibilities by connecting their expertise in fields such as programming, art, planning, and commercialization. A natural atmosphere of cooperation prevailed, with teams offering support for challenges that were difficult for individual teams to solve.
This event held added significance in that it went beyond mere socializing to focus on early-stage development companies sharing their capabilities and establishing a foundation for collaboration. Given that manpower and resources are often limited in the early stages of a startup, forming networks among developers is considered a crucial factor in enhancing project quality and commercial competitiveness.
Son Byeong-seon, Acting President of the Chungnam Content Agency, said, “I hope this networking event goes beyond simple exchange and serves as an opportunity for the participants of the 2nd Indie Game Park to grow together as reliable colleagues and cooperative partners. We will continue to provide various support so that the participants of the 2nd cohort, following the 1st, can also produce excellent results and become a solid foundation for the Chungnam indie game ecosystem.”
Meanwhile, Indie Game Park is an incubation program operated by the Chungnam Content Agency to support the establishment and growth of local indie game developers and early-stage game startups. It supports the revitalization of the local game industry ecosystem through various programs, including the provision of office space, mentoring, education, networking, and commercialization support.
