Seongnam City, the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency, and the Korea Mobile Game Association will jointly run “GXG 2026 x INDIECRAFT Collaboration Exhibition” and “2026 Connect Fair: K-Game Export Business Matching” simultaneously in Pangyo on September 11–12 — two programs designed to support domestic small and mid-sized indie studios’ growth and international expansion, deliberately scheduled on the same days at connected venues so exhibition and export business can feed directly into each other.

GXG 2026 x INDIECRAFT Collaboration Exhibition — Pangyo Techone Tower, September 11–12
INDIECRAFT is Korea’s leading indie game festival, hosted by Seongnam City and co-organized by the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency and the Korea Mobile Game Association. This year’s edition collaborates with Seongnam’s broader game culture event GXG 2026, running the offline exhibition in a special hall on the first floor of Pangyo Techone Tower — one minute’s walk from Exit 1 of Pangyo Station on the Sinbundang Line.
Hours run 1:00 PM–6:00 PM both days, with Saturday (September 12) opening earlier at 11:00 AM. Fifty-one live booths feature studios selected through the 2026 INDIECRAFT program, letting attendees play games directly and talk with developers on-site. A separate unstaffed exhibition section showcases the “Challenger Division” — work centered on university student teams.
New this year: a dedicated Brazil Special Pavilion featuring four Brazilian indie titles from studios Venn Studios, 2Wedges, Coffeenauts, and Mito Games — introducing Brazilian indie work to Korean audiences while building a direct exchange point between the two countries’ indie developer communities.
The exhibition period also runs the second round of user evaluation (FGT) judging: actual attendee playtesting and scoring feed directly into selecting the domestic Top 3, with visitor feedback also folded back into the exhibited games’ ongoing development. Last year’s INDIECRAFT exhibition drew approximately 38,000 visitors.
2026 Connect Fair: K-Game Export Business Matching — Gravity Josun Pangyo, September 11
The same day, the “2026 Connect Fair: K-Game Export Business Matching” runs at the Space Ballroom, basement level, Gravity Josun Seoul Pangyo Autograph Collection. Connect Fair is a business program connecting domestic small and mid-sized game companies with overseas publishers and investors through one-on-one meetings, supporting international publishing deals, investment attraction, and local market entry.
Roughly 30 international partner companies from the US, Japan, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Australia are participating, with many specifically seeking mobile game publishing and investment opportunities. Confirmed partners include Cygames and Phoenixx (Japan), TapTap (China), DiGeam and Softstar (Taiwan), Gamota (Vietnam), APPGURU (Singapore), Kaigan Games (Malaysia), Plan A Games (US), Entalto Publishing (Spain), and Behold Ventures (Sweden).
On the domestic side, roughly 80 Korean companies — including INDIECRAFT-selected studios and other developers preparing for international expansion — have applied to participate, setting up a broad meeting ground between Korean developers and international partners.
The Full Pipeline: Exhibition to Export
INDIECRAFT ran a promotional booth at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne this past August, introducing Korean indie games directly to international investors and publishers there. This Pangyo event connects the next stage of that pipeline in a single day: a public exhibition where developers can gauge audience reaction, immediately followed by direct business discussions with the international partners who might publish or invest in what they just showed.
Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency Director Lee Ju-yeon: “INDIECRAFT’s growing results year over year demonstrate the real strength of Korea’s indie game industry. The Agency will continue working to discover excellent studios and support their international expansion so that capable indie developers receive the recognition and growth opportunities they deserve.”
Korea Mobile Game Association Chairman Hwang Sung-ik: “Over the past decade, INDIECRAFT has served as the platform where Korean indie developers meet users and step onto the world stage. This year’s collaboration with GXG 2026 lets more citizens enjoy indie games, and the same-day Connect Fair helps developers turn that exposure into real results with international partners.”
Exhibition admission is free. Full event details are available at the official INDIECRAFT website (www.indiecraft.or.kr) and the “2026 INDIECRAFT” YouTube channel. Connect Fair inquiries: Korea Mobile Game Association Secretariat, 070-8680-6477.
