The Daejeon Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency (DICIA) announced it is accepting applications until August 20 for new tenants at the Daejeon Global Game Center, as part of its efforts to revitalize the local game ecosystem and discover indie game developers and aspiring entrepreneurs.
The recruitment is open to registered game development or publishing companies, pre-startup founders, and indie game developers or teams. Individual office spaces will be allocated to game companies and pre-startups, while shared office spaces will be available to game companies, pre-startups, and indie developers or teams.
Selected tenants will receive a range of benefits, including:
- Free rent for up to three years from the initial move-in date
- Full access to the Game Center’s facilities and equipment
- Promotional support
- Mentoring services
- Networking programs
To better accommodate small-scale indie studios, the center has newly established shared office spaces, aiming to encourage more diverse projects and foster collaboration through active networking.
Interested companies can download the required application forms from the DICIA website or the DICIA PMS site and submit their applications online.
Director Lee Eun-hak stated:
“Through the operation of these shared offices, we aim to provide indie developers and aspiring founders with an open environment to take on new challenges and grow. We hope the Daejeon Global Game Center becomes a hub where promising game talent gathers to innovate and succeed.”
