    Bandai Namco Entertainment Korea] Bandai Namco Entertainment and Bandai Namco Studio announced that they would start recruiting for the ‘2nd GYAAR Studio Indie Game Contest’ hosted by Bandai Namco Studio’s indie game label ‘GYAAR Studio’ on September 21st (Thursday).

    This contest was launched to actively support indie game creators and further vitalize the game market in the future. For the second time this year, we plan to help indie game creators in various forms so that different game titles can shine more brightly than the last one.

    As with the first contest, you can apply by preparing specific submissions, such as a working demo. A 100 million yen subsidy is awarded to outstanding works, and various support programs are ready for the winners.

    ■ Establishment of ‘Honourable Work’ awarding 1 million yen for up to 10 works!

    In addition to the ‘Platinum Award’ and ‘Grand Prize,’ ‘Honorable Work’ was newly established to award 1 million yen to up to 10 works. Winners can use the development base ‘GYAAR Studio Base’ for free.

    ■ ‘The 2nd GYAAR Studio Indie Game Contest’ recruitment outline

    Application period: September 21, 2023 (Thu) 10:00 ~ December 4, 2023 (Mon) 23:59
    Announcement of Results: Scheduled to be announced at “TOKYO INDIE GAMES SUMMIT 2024” on March 2 (Sat) – 3 (Sun), 2024

    [Qualifications]
    ・Corporations, organizations, or individuals may apply for this contest.
    ・For those who have not reached the age of majority in their country of residence at the time of application for this contest, the consent of a legal representative, such as a person with parental authority, is required.
    ・Applicants are limited to corporations, organizations, or individuals residing in the following regions: Japan, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Korea, Spain, and Sweden. , Taiwan, Turkey, UK, USA
    ※When a group applies for work, it must designate one representative and apply after the representative has obtained consent to these terms and conditions from all other members. The legal representative’s consent must be obtained if a minor is included among the members.
    ・If a corporation submits a work, it must be submitted by someone with the authority to agree to these terms and conditions.

    ・Applications can only be made through the form on the official website within the designated application period.
    ・To apply for this contest, you must submit the following items.
    – Game ROM (workable demo or prototype)
    – proposal
    – Operation Manual ※Added from the 2nd
    – (If the applicant is a minor) A written consent from a legal representative, such as a person with parental authority
    ※ Applicants must separately register for a “Bandai Namco ID.”
    ※ Please apply at your discretion and responsibility. In addition, all expenses required for application are borne by the applicant.

    ・Submitted works to be judged in this contest must meet the following requirements.
    – Must be available for sale on STEAM® (PC)
    – There must be a working demo or prototype (only the proposal cannot be submitted)
    – Language must be Japanese or English
    ※ The game genre is irrelevant.

    ■ ‘GYAAR Studio’ TGS first exhibit

    ‘GYAAR Studio’ will be exhibiting for the first time in the indie game corner of ‘TGS 2023’ starting on September 21, 2023 (Thursday). At the booth, you can experience the 1st Indie Game Contest winners.
