The Chungbuk Global Game Center (hereinafter referred to as Game Center), supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korea Creative Content Agency, and Cheongju City, and operated by the Cheongju Cultural Industry Promotion Foundation (CEO Park Sang-eon), will support the production of ‘2022 Chungbuk game productions until 15:00 on the 23rd (Wednesday). There are two fields of recruitment: ▶Chungbuk game company production support project and ▶Indie startup production support project. A total of 20 companies will be supported, including 15 game companies and 5 indie game companies.
The Chungbuk game company production support project provides differential support such as KRW 110 million (3 tasks), KRW 90 million (7 tasks), and KRW 70 million (5 tasks) depending on the evaluation of the results. Self-confidence matching is essential.
The mid-term evaluation results will be conducted in July for the final selected companies (tasks), and additional incentives of 50 million won will be provided to the two excellent companies. Considering the prolonged COVID-19 situation, unlike last year, the number of mandatory new hires was reduced from a maximum of four to one, reducing the burden on companies.
In the indie start-up production support project designed with an emphasis on incubation, 40 million won each is provided to a total of 5 companies, and there is no self-pay matching. In addition to consulting support in the early stages of development, an office in the game center can also be provided.
Companies selected for both the Chungbuk game company production support project and the indie start-up production support project must complete and release the game presented as the production target by the end of the agreement, November 30.
