The event provides a ‘Diagnosis Networking Day’ where developers can have one-on-one conversations on questions such as game development and operation, marketing, and global expansion, as well as a game booth where they can directly demonstrate games. There was also an offline demonstration stage.

In the morning, lectures were held by Indiecraft sponsors and game industry officials. ▲Megazone Cloud, a cloud company with the largest number of game customers in Korea as a sponsor of Indiecraft ▲One Store, a native app market in Korea, ▲Xsolla, a global payment solution provider, ▲Microsoft, which is growing rapidly in the game industry along with Xbox, participating developers Various businesses were introduced for the company and supported meaningful growth.

The ‘Diagnosis Networking Day’, which drew a lot of response from developers participating in the exhibition, consisted of a total of 11 mentor tables and was created as a place to coolly answer the questions of developers. A positive networking event was also held by answering the passionate questions of the developers with the mentor group consisting of three areas: ▲global expansion and publishing, ▲game operation and marketing, and ▲cloud and game service.

In the afternoon, the event started with a welcome video from Seongnam Mayor Eun Su-mi and a congratulatory video from Seongnam City Council Chairman Yoon Chang-geun. Mayor Eun Su-mi said in a video, “Even in the midst of the Corona situation, we are holding an online virtual game show to provide a place where users and indie game developers can meet. We hope that you will be able to meet and enjoy outstanding indie games at home and abroad through Indiecraft.”

Next, congratulatory speeches were delivered by Cho Hyun-rae, president of the Korea Creative Content Agency, Song Min-seok, general manager of Unity Korea, and Hwang Seong-ik, president of the Korea Mobile Game Association.

▲ In a congratulatory speech, President Cho Hyun-rae of the Korea Creative Content Agency said, “I think the fact that the Korean game industry has transformed from nothing in the early days to a game powerhouse today is the basis for a new start, just like the indie game developers here. I hope that it will grow into a game that is always loved, and furthermore, into a bigger industry.”

▲ Unity Korea General Manager Song Min-seok said, “Unity and indie games have an inseparable relationship. We are working hard to create opportunities to grow together. We hope that today’s event will be a good opportunity for game industry officials and developers who attended.”
