The Korea Indie Game Association (KIGA) has announced a game development contest in collaboration with NC AI, aimed at indie creators. The contest centers around VARCO 3D, an AI-powered 3D asset creation tool, and seeks to lower entry barriers to 3D game development while encouraging creative use of AI.

What Is VARCO 3D?
VARCO 3D is an AI-driven tool that allows rapid creation of high-quality 3D assets essential for game development. Aimed at small studios and indie creators, it significantly reduces time and costs—assets can be produced in under 10 minutes.
During the contest, participants will get free access to VARCO 3D as a SaaS, and it is mandatory that over 50% of core in-game assets are created using this tool.

- Application Period: July 18 (Fri) – July 31 (Thu), 2025
- Development Period: August 1 (Fri) – August 31 (Sun), 2025
- Winners Announced: September 22 (Mon), 2025
Awards:
- Grand Prize (1 team) – KRW 3,000,000
- Excellence Award (1 team) – KRW 2,000,000
- Merit Awards (5 teams) – KRW 500,000 each
All participants will receive official proof of participation. Student participants will gain extra points for future internship applications with NC AI.
Promotion & Exposure:
Winning entries will be showcased at NC AI events and across various media platforms as best practices. Depending on the project, selected winners may also be given keynote presentation opportunities and additional promotional support.
