- Experience everything from game development to release and service through a 24-week training camp.
Krafton (CEO Kim Chang-han) is recruiting participants for the second term of the game talent training program ‘Krafton Jungle Game Lab (from now on referred to as Jungle Game Lab).’
Jungle Game Lab is a CSR program planned by Krafton to cultivate talent that will lead the global gaming industry. It is characterized by incorporating the philosophy of ‘Krafton Jungle’, Krafton’s software talent training program, throughout the educational process, including immersion, self-directed learning, and team-based collaboration.
Jungle Game Lab released six games on Steam’s global game distribution platform in January this year. The work of all 29 first-class graduates resulted in 20,000 downloads within six days of release, and the games attracted a lot of attention from users, including being ranked as the most popular newly released games on Steam.
Participants in the second period will live in a training camp for 24 weeks and experience everything from game planning to development, release, and service. You can also share game development experience and know-how from developers and experts in the gaming industry, including Krafton, and the final project results will be released under the name of the team formed by the participants.
The recruitment period is from April 15th to May 10th. A maximum of 32 people will be selected, and anyone with a passion for game development can apply. The selection process consists of ▲document submission, ▲entrance exam, and ▲interview; advance study materials to prepare for the entrance exam are also provided separately. The final successful applicants will begin training camp for approximately 24 weeks at Kyonggi University’s Suwon Campus from July to December.
Krafton Jungle Director Kim Jeong-han said, “The Krafton Jungle Game Lab is characterized by people with diverse backgrounds collaborating with a passion for game production and experiencing the entire process from game development to service,” adding, “Immersion based on training camp.” “We plan to develop the capabilities of developers who will lead the global game industry through self-directed learning and team-based collaboration.”
