The game industry is focusing on strengthening its business competitiveness through the blood transfusion of new personnel. In the second half of this year, the trend of recruiting new personnel in the game industry is the ‘recruitment-linked internship’ program, and various internship programs are being operated from large game companies to mid-sized and new game companies.
First of all, Webzen is operating a recruitment-linked internship program for various jobs such as development support, technology, management support, and development.
Written and interview tests are being conducted for applicants who have received applications until October 17th, and selected candidates will undergo an internship for about six months from January next year to receive a final evaluation. Webzen’s recruitment-linked internship program is characterized by providing selected interns with the same salary and welfare as regular workers.
In addition, new development jobs of subsidiaries such as ‘Webzen Red Core,’ which developed ‘R2M’ and ‘Webzen Blue Rock,’ which is developing MMORPG ‘Project M,’ are also included in the internship target. The new work being prepared is a large-scale work that draws attention using ‘Unreal Engine 5’, and applicants can experience various tasks. Smilegate runs the internship program across 23 jobs and 4 corporations, including Smilegate Holdings, Smilegate Entertainment, Smilegate RPG, and Smilegate Megaport. The application period is until November 8, and depending on the job application, prior assignments, and presentations may proceed. Selected candidates will be given the opportunity to join a full-time position after the internship evaluation from January to March next year.
Bagel Code is conducting 3rd open recruitment based on internships. It is conducted in two areas: development and overseas business, and selected candidates from among the applicants receive various job training through a three-month internship course and then are put into major roles in the development job group and overseas business.
