Lemon Velvet (CEO Lee Jeong-eun) announced on the 11th that its female-oriented game ‘Zombie Seed’, which is currently in development, reached its target amount of 20 million won in Tumblbug crowdfunding.
It is a ‘young boy collectible card game’ that combines a ‘visual novel style’ with a ‘card battle system’. It is scheduled to be released on a mobile platform in the second half of 2025, and porting to other platforms such as Steam is also being considered.
Gamers become teachers in an apocalyptic world overrun by plant-type zombies, witnessing and solving incidents occurring around them as they progress through the story. They can also place their desired characters on the battlefield and enjoy thrilling card battles.
‘Zombie Seed’ is garnering much attention with famous illustrators such as ‘Kiru’ and ‘Kiru’ participating in the graphic work, and a luxurious cast of voice actors including ‘Lee Kyung-tae’, ‘Jung Joo-won’, ‘Min Seung-woo’, ‘Kim Min-joo’, ‘Jung Eui-taek’, and ‘Kim Dan’ also participating.
This Tumblbug crowdfunding campaign, which started on October 25th, will continue until November 25th, and will provide rewards such as ▲photocards ▲postcards ▲game coupons ▲artbooks ▲OSTs ▲acrylic stands to its funding supporters. Details can be found on the Tumblbug page .
Meanwhile, Lemon Velvet also succeeded in Tumblbug funding in 2023 with its previous work, ‘Flower’s Dawn’. ‘Flower’s Dawn’, a romance game set in Egypt, is continuing its service on Steam and Stove platforms.
