Neowiz (Co-CEO Seung-Cheol Kim, Tae-geun Bae) announced on the 11th that two PC games, ‘Aka’ and ‘SANABI,’ were introduced at the ‘Nintendo Indie World Showcase.’
The ‘Nintendo Indie World Showcase’ is an event introducing indie games scheduled to be released on the Nintendo Switch. This year, it was released as a 25-minute video through the Nintendo YouTube global channel (12pm JST on the 10th).
Through this showcase, Aka announced various content updates in the game. The casual healing adventure game ‘Aka’ has unveiled three new islands to explore: Maple Island, Palm Island, and Bamboo Island.
On the island, you can feel a different climate and atmosphere from the island that was released in the previous demo version, and you can also meet a new NPC (Non-Player Character). In addition, you can check out new content such as ‘The Inventor’s House,’ where you can enjoy mini-games, ‘Tarot Card Fortune-telling,’ and ‘Cat Bar.’
In particular, the official release date of ‘AKA’ was revealed at this event. ‘AKA’ will be available on December 15th through ‘Steam’ and ‘Nintendo Switch,’ a global PC game distribution platform.
‘SANABI’ had time to watch a trailer video containing the game story and in-game content through the showcase. The game is scheduled to receive a game beta update on the 22nd. Additional development sections and intermediate bosses in Chapter 3 can be checked, and some contents of Chapter 4 and newly introduced technologies such as knockback and charge dash will also be introduced.
On the other hand, ‘Aka’ participated in the online and offline game festival ‘Day of the Devs’ held in San Francisco, USA, on the 5th and demonstrated a demo version for visitors.
