The G-STAR Organizing Committee (Chairman Young-ki Cho, hereinafter referred to as the Organizing Committee) has released the detailed schedule for Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy, the representative content of the ‘International Game Exhibition G-STAR 2025’, G-CON 2025, and information on major BTC participants participating in BEXCO’s 2nd exhibition hall.
This year, G-STAR will evolve beyond a simple exhibition event into an experiential festival where creators, industry, and visitors can all participate together, under the slogan “Expand Your Horizons.”
In particular, we plan to strengthen our role as a global platform connecting the present and future of the domestic and international game industries through strengthening the indie game ecosystem, expanding global cooperation, and providing conference programs that provide industry insights.
■ BEXCO 2nd Exhibition Hall BTC Major Exhibitors Announced
Global leading developers have confirmed their participation in the BTC area of the second exhibition hall, which has been organized as an exhibition-specific area centered on the organizing committee every year.
In particular, the most notable feature is that companies participating as speakers at G-CON will be setting up their own booths. Czech developer Warhorse Studios, which received overwhelming reviews for [Kingdom Come: Deliverance II] and is a strong candidate for the ‘Game of the Year’ award; Sega/Atlus, which ranked first in Metacritic’s ‘2025 Game Publisher Rankings’ with strong IPs such as [Persona] and [Metaphor: Refantasio]; and Bandai Namco Entertainment, which will be presenting a special booth commemorating the 30th anniversary of the [Ace Combat series], are expected to shine at G-Star with world-class developers.
Additionally, Unity, a leading platform that empowers creators around the world to create and grow games and interactive experiences, will showcase a number of unique global games built on Unity in conjunction with ‘Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy’.
Additionally, one of the world’s leading developers will be participating in G-Star this year, preparing experiential exhibitions and on-site events based on its flagship IP. Specifically, the company plans to showcase a variety of programs, including esports events, where visitors can directly enjoy and interact with each other.
Detailed information, including the BEXCO 2nd Exhibition Hall BTC exhibition hall floor plan, will be released on the G-STAR official website in October.

Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy Expands with Global Partnerships
This year’s Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy has been significantly expanded in both scale and structure. Expanding on last year’s scale, Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy will showcase new creator-centric experiential content through collaborations with a variety of global content partners.
In particular, Steam Deck (Distributor: Komodo) will participate as a major partner for the second year in a row, and a variety of experiential exhibition programs will be prepared based on collaboration with global companies where indie developers and visitors can interact.
The organizing committee stated, “Indie content is essential for expanding the industry base and has established itself as the main content representing G-STAR,” and “Through cooperation with global partners, we will create an ecosystem where indie creators can achieve tangible results.”

G-CON 2025 Session Schedule Released
The G-STAR Conference (G-CON 2025) returns with a completely new lineup and an unprecedented lineup. This year’s G-CON is not simply a collection of lectures, but a narrative conference exploring the essence of games through “storytelling.”
This year’s G-CON weaves together the relationship between games and society, culture, and technology into a single story, highlighting the evolution of game narratives as they expand into diverse content areas like film, music, art, and animation. This event explores these themes across two axes: “The Language of Emotion and Presentation” and “The Structure of Worlds and Philosophy.”
The first day will explore the process of building narrative through the diverse creative languages of game emotion, production, music, visuals, and systems. Various creators, including directors, composers, and artists, will explore production techniques that design emotions, the structure of music that drives player immersion, and how emotions and meaning are conveyed through visuals and systems. Furthermore, we will illuminate the complex narrative ecosystem in which games intersect with other media like film, music, and webtoons, and examine how the “play experience” becomes a complete story.
The second day will explore how games intersect with art, literature, and technology, focusing on the expansion of worldview, philosophy, and narrative. From the worlds and philosophical structures of classic RPGs to the worldbuilding and narrative experiments of modern AAA titles, each session will delve into the depth of game worlds and the aesthetics of creation that expand within them. Furthermore, through diverse fields such as game art, narrative design, and visual storytelling, the session will explore how the harmony of technology and art, systems and narrative, creates new experiences.
The organizing committee stated, “G-CON 2025 will go beyond a place to share information and become a stage to experience the world created by games and the creative power contained within them. We will leap forward as a new type of global conference where technology, art, industry, and creation intersect.” The two-day schedule for G-CON can be found on the G-STAR website.

G-Star’s vision for ‘connections and experiences that go beyond games’
G-STAR 2025 is organically linking all content, including BTB (Business), BTC (General Admission), G-CON, and Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy, and is evolving into an integrated platform that connects industry, creation, and audiences.
The organizing committee stated, “This year’s event will go beyond a simple exhibition and become an immersive festival where participants can experience the cultural and artistic extensibility of games firsthand. Various content, including on-site exhibitions, conferences, and indie game events, will be connected into a single flow, allowing all participants to experience G-STAR firsthand through seeing, hearing, participating, and experiencing.”
This year’s G-Star will be held from Thursday, November 13th to Sunday, November 16th at BEXCO in Busan, with main sponsor NCSOFT and major global partners participating to present even more diverse programs and new content.
