    The one-person indie game ‘Daksa RPG’ in Punkland achieved sales of 500 million won in 50 days after launch.

    – Punkland has improved game development convenience through continuous updates since its renewal in January.
    – ‘Daksa RPG: Idle Farming Heroes’ achieved sales of 500 million won in 50 days after launch, the highest sales in the shortest period ever
    – In August, Punkland recorded its highest monthly sales ever.

    As a result of Supercat (CEO Kim Young-eul) focusing on improving development convenience for developers working on its indie game platform ‘PUNKLAND,’ positive indicators such as the emergence of games exceeding 500 million won in sales in the shortest period have been achieved. It was announced on the 6th that it is appearing.

    Last January, Punkland collected opinions from users and carried out a comprehensive renewal to improve development convenience and focus on profit generation. We improved usability by reorganizing the development tools, game frame, and user environment (UI). We introduced script-based plug-ins such as auto-completion, typo detection, and tooltip display to enhance developer convenience and productivity.

    Since then, updates to improve development convenience have continued, increasing developers’ satisfaction with the platform. Last August, the ‘AI Image Generator’ was introduced for free so that Punkland game developers could quickly generate profits by focusing solely on development, enabling game developers to supply art resources immediately.

    In addition, we have agreed with the sound content production company ‘Creation Workshop’ to supply the proper resources needed for game production to Punkland, so that game developers in Punkland can provide valuable resources such as background music and sound effects required for game production through the Punkland Resource Market. It can now be found conveniently.

    As a result of these efforts, the new RPG ‘Daksa RPG: Idle Farming Hero,’ launched by solo game developer ’33games’ in July, achieved sales of 500 million won in just 50 days of official service. This is the highest sales in the shortest period of history.

    As an environment where developers can focus solely on game development is created, and games that generate high profits continue to emerge, the Punkland platform is also growing. Based on sales last August, Punkland broke its highest monthly sales record in three years. In addition, the cumulative settlement amount paid to developers has exceeded 5 billion won.

    Ha Young-min, Punkland team leader, said, “Punkland is known as a no-code game development platform that allows for N-jobs, and new developers are flowing in, creating a virtuous cycle in which various games are released.” He added, “We will improve development convenience in the future.” “We will spare no effort to develop the Punkland ecosystem by continuing to update based on available AI technology.”
