‘Metaverse Academy’, a guide for metaverse creators hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and hosted by the Information and Communication Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) and the Korea Radio Promotion Association (RAPA), is recruiting students for the 1st class by April 25th. .
The ‘Metaverse Academy’, promoted for the purpose of nurturing young talents who will lead the Metaverse ecosystem, is divided into ‘Metaverse service developers’ and ‘Metaverse content creators’, and a total of 180 people (120 service developers, 120 service developers, 60 content creators)
The training period will be held at the Metaverse Hub (Pangyo) from May to December, 22nd. The main contents of education include self-directed content and service creation and development learning, problem-solving-centered project execution, evaluation and advancement, and business model discovery practice.
The criteria for selecting trainees meet the metaverse academy’s talents, and target young people under the age of 39 who have self-directed creative capabilities and clear goals.
In particular, selected trainees receive all training expenses free of charge, and training support fees of up to 1 million won (up to 5 months) are paid every month. In addition, dedicated mentoring and technical support for each individual or team level and technology, the latest laptop, individual practice equipment, creative space, and educational software are provided free of charge.
Outstanding trainees who have completed the ‘Metaverse Academy’ will be awarded the Academy Certificate and the Minister of Science, Technology and Information and Communication Award.
