Catdoors, a domestic indie game developer, announced on the 19th that it had exclusively released ‘Black Academy’, a combination of side-scrolling shooting and rogue-lite genres, through Stove Indy on the 19th.
‘Black Academy’ is about becoming a magical girl and killing the demons who run the school in order to escape the hellish school run by the devil.
The game wittily solves the difficult subject of a black company with black comedy and cute graphics, and the unique pretty demons appear as bosses, stimulating the anticipation for the next stage.
Also, through the spells and items found by exploring the map, you can change the projectile of the magical girl, so you can grow it in various ways.
‘Black Academy’ Early Access can only be enjoyed on Stove Indie, and there is a regular version for 12-year-olds and a Secret Plus version for 18-year-olds. The Secret Plus version includes content and CG for adult gamers.
CatDoors, the developer, said, “Through the ‘Wise Demo Life’ where users and developers work together, we were able to prepare a better game by receiving feedback from various perspectives, and through the early access version, we were able to communicate with users through the full version of the complete version. I want it to be released,” he said.
Meanwhile, at the ‘Black Academy’, from the 19th to the 1st of August, a ‘throbbing ambitious work’ event, where you can receive various purchase privileges, will be held. Early access purchase privileges include a webtoon book containing 20 episodes, a detailed setting book, and character post-it goods.
Details on the early access release of ‘Black Academy’ can be found on the game store page .
