    Metaverse ‘ZEP’ surpasses 1 million users in 6 months of service

    ZEP (CEO: Kim Won-bae) unveiled its achievements and future vision on the 10th after the release of the metaverse platform ‘ZEP’ that is being serviced by the company.

    ‘ZEP’ is a metaverse platform operated by ‘ZEP’, a joint venture between ‘Supercat’, the game company that developed the MMORPG ‘The Kingdom of the Wind: Kite’ and ‘Naverjet’, the operator of ‘Zeppetto’. The beta version was released in November last year, and the official service opening was announced in March this year.

    Six months after ZEP was released to the public, the cumulative number of users who accessed ZEP has exceeded 1 million, and the number of participation in Space (the metaverse space within ZEP) has exceeded 11 million. About 110,000 ‘spaces’, a metaverse space for users, were created, and the number of monthly active users (MAU) reached 340,000.

    The use of various companies is also outstanding. Samsung Electronics held a recruitment fair and orientation for new employees through ZEP, and Lotte Group opened ‘L-Recruit Town’, a recruitment center. Big Hit Music’s Tomorrow X Together held a fan event ‘PLAY X TOGETHER’, and Naver also hosted a ‘Search Colloquium 2022’ at ZEP.

    In addition, companies and organizations such as GS E&C, JTBC, and Seoul are providing various events based on a different space through ZEP.
