Runosoft (CEO Kim Bok-nam) announced on the 13th that it has officially launched the hybrid action RPG ‘Cat Wizard: Shooting Idle RPG’ (hereinafter ‘Cat Wizard’), which was jointly developed by domestic developers Superkeys (CEO Lee Chae-min) and Heykeys Studio (CEO Song Song-yi) and published by Runosoft, on Google Play and ONE Store.
Runosoft, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, is a game development and publishing company that spans various platforms from mobile to PC. Based on its in-house workforce, the company handles the entire process from development to operation and publishing, and continues to provide stable game services based on accumulated localization experience and global service capabilities.
Based on this experience, the plan for the new title ‘Cat Wizard’ is also to showcase high-quality content and user-friendly services.

‘The Cat Wizard’ is a delightful story about the adventures of a house cat and its master, ‘Master Mouse,’ as they try to retrieve a precious butler who was kidnapped by alien spider forces and to get back the ‘daily Churu guarantee.’
It is characterized by the ability to enjoy combat while freely moving the character with just a single joystick, without complex controls. The simple controls allow players to quickly become familiar with the gameplay, offering both the convenience of auto-hunting and the fun of manually controlling the character to defeat hordes of monsters.
In particular, the ‘Bullet Hell Boss Battle,’ where you continue attacking while dodging powerful chapter bosses that fill the screen and flashy bullet patterns, is content that emphasizes the tension and satisfying feel unique to shooting games.
Players can acquire various special magic skills, such as ‘Robot Cat’ and ‘Cannon Cat’, and equip projectile parts to create their own unique attack style. Through this, they can also enjoy ‘Magic Deck Customization’, which allows them to configure their desired attack direction and trajectory.
Expanded entertainment with collection and dungeon content
Growth and collection elements are also abundant. You can meet cute flying pet companions that support combat, as well as an infinite collection system that allows you to continuously grow your character as you continue playing.
In addition, various special dungeon content such as ‘Bounty Hunt’, ‘Golden Wing Tournament’, and ‘Magu Magu Battle’ is provided. Various rewards can be obtained from each content, adding to the fun of replay.
Special collaboration with ‘Ik-myeong-i’
Along with the official launch, a special collaboration with the popular character ‘Ikmyung-i’ will also be held.
Through this collaboration, the ‘Ikkukjjaeng’ character legion—namely, Myeong-i, Kkaekkugi, and Oljjaengi—will appear as in-game characters, companions, and themes. Users can encounter collaboration content with a unique atmosphere distinct from the existing game throughout the game.
An offline event has also been prepared. A character pop-up store will be held at Shinsegae Centum in Busan for two weeks starting August 21, and a special collaboration commemorative reward coupon linked with ‘The Wizard of Cats’ will also be provided.
