The settlement simulation game Pick Me Up, developed by the indie development team One Second Games, will be introduced to the public at G-Star 2024, which will be held at BEXCO in Busan.
‘Pick Me Up’ is a game where you lead a small tribe of primitive people in an unexplored land and grow them into a large settlement by gathering, building, farming, surviving, and fighting. The gamer becomes the god of the tribe and manages the desires, moods, and illnesses of the tribe people and gains their trust so they don’t leave the settlement. You also capture and imprison barbarians, educate them, and grow the tribe by participating in events.
The game includes various strategic elements, such as farming, to prepare for food shortages. At the same time, the settlement prospers as the population increases, and additional social events such as fires, crime, and the emergence of fanatics are planned for future updates.
‘Pick Me Up’ can be experienced at the ‘Indie Game Showcase 2.0 Booth’ sponsored by Steam during G-Star 2024.
