On the 8th, the 4th ‘Window Program’ will wrap up its year-long journey with ‘Window Demo Day 2022’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘Window Demo Day’) and ‘Graduation Ceremony.’ The ‘window program’ is a domestic small and medium-sized developer and startup support program jointly conducted by Google Play with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development. It was launched in 2019 and celebrated its 4th term this year.

The window demo day was prepared to help the 4th window developers attract investment. The 10 participating companies of the 4th window program will meet with domestic and foreign investors in-person to introduce their business performance and have a Q&A session for investment review.

About 160 participants from the 4th term attended the networking session, which is designed to build long-term relationships with industry experts such as investors and publishers. After the Demo Day ends, the ‘Graduation Ceremony’ of the 4th window program will be held, where participating companies will convey their impressions of participation and discuss the 2023 window program operation plan together.

At the window demo day event, Lim Jung-wook, head of Startup and Venture Innovation at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, gave a congratulatory speech and gave a congratulatory speech. Senior Director of Google Asia-Pacific Platform/Ecosystem Marketing, Neuron, said, “The window program has been held for the 4th time, and the cumulative number of participating developers has exceeded 300. In the meantime, it has not only established itself as a fostering program that domestic startups want to participate in but is also a representative startup support program that has been exported as a successful case in the Asia-Pacific region.”

He continued, “Google will continue its efforts to serve as a ‘window for growth’ through which Korean startups can spread their wings and expand globally.”

Being able to receive professional advice through the window program, such as improving apps and services, entering the global market, and marketing strategies, helped me grow rapidly.”
