    Seoul is gearing up to host one of the year’s most significant business-centric gaming gatherings. Organized by OPENER and ZEMPIE, and supported by the Seoul Tourism Organization and the Korea AI Game Association, GAME AiCON Seoul 2026 has officially opened its doors for Korean indie developers looking to scale their projects globally.


    A Global Launchpad for K-Indies

    While many gaming events focus on the consumer “hype,” GAME AiCON is strictly about the business of games. It aims to connect local creators with international publishers, venture capitalists, and platform holders. For indie studios, being chosen for the Global Indie Game Selection means moving from the bedroom to the boardroom.

    Eligibility and Application Process

    The selection is open to all Korean indie studios (individual or corporate) developing games for PC, Console, Mobile, or HTML5.

    Given the international nature of the attendees—ranging from global publishers to overseas media—the organizers have noted that games with English localization will receive priority during the review process. This reflects a broader industry push for Korean indies to design with a global audience in mind from day one.
