By officially launching the “Roblox Incubator” and “Roblox Jumpstart” programs, the company is courting indie developers to build what they call “Novel Games”—titles that push the boundaries of genre, gameplay mechanics, and visual fidelity far beyond the platform’s “blocky” roots.

    The Adult Surge: Why Roblox is Changing

    The launch of these programs isn’t a whim; it’s a response to a rapidly maturing audience. Roblox is no longer “just for kids,” and the latest internal data proves it:

    Jumpstart is an “always-on” program with a rolling application process. It caters to both veteran developers looking to explore the platform for the first time and existing creators with early-stage ideas.
