    ‘Busan Indie Connect Festival 2022’, ancillary events list released

    On the 23rd, the Busan Indie Connect Festival Organizing Committee (Chairman Seo Tae-geon) announced a list of side events and information for ‘Busan Indie Connect Festival 2022 (hereinafter BIC Festival 2022)’ and announced various events.

    BIC Festival 2022, which is scheduled to open on September 1, will be held simultaneously both online and offline. For the first time since Corona, various online and offline events are being prepared for the general audience to enjoy the event more abundantly, as overseas developers also participate.

    First, following the BIC showcase held at last year’s G-Star, through the ‘GBTI (Gambiti I)’ test, which came back in a new and more diverse way this year, you can check exhibitions suitable for individual preferences. If you select the answer to each item related to the game, you can check the game type closest to your taste on the results page.

    All exhibits that can be seen at this year’s BIC Festival are also allocated according to each game type, so that the audience who conducted the test can check and play the exhibit closest to their taste. The GBTI test can be experienced in advance through the link on the announcement on the BIC official website, and can also be experienced in the GBTI test zone built separately at the event site.

    In addition, various events are predicted. Stage events held during the offline festival to be held for 4 days from September 1 to 4 will be broadcast live through the BIC YouTube channel so that online visitors can also participate.

    ‘Good Morning BIC’, which opens the curtain every morning and introduces major news for each day, ‘BIC On Air Radio’ to introduce the stories of visitors to BIC and indie games, ‘Choice Hot GBTI’ to introduce works participating in GBTI exhibitions, etc. Various stage events are prepared.

    In addition, BIC’s virtual influencer John, who debuted in March and is playing his role as a mascot to promote indie games and BIC, also announced his participation as a special guest at the BIC Festival event.
