Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Hyung-joon), Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (President Kim Tae-yeol), and Busan Indie Connect Festival Organizing Committee (Organizing Committee Chairman Joo Seong-pil, hereinafter referred to as BIC Organizing Committee) will participate in ‘Taipei Game Show 2026 (TGS 2026)’ to promote the global competitiveness of Korean indie games to the world.
The BIC Organizing Committee announced that it will support the participation of four excellent BIC 2025 selected companies at TGS 2026, which will be held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center in Taiwan from January 29 to February 1, and will directly showcase the power of K-indie games to local gamers and industry insiders.

Maximizing Brand Value with a B2B/B2C Two-Sided Strategy
Participating in TGS 2026 is significant because it allows the BIC organizing committee to showcase the competitiveness of Korean indie games on an international stage alongside leading Korean developers. The organizing committee plans to set up a dedicated booth in the B2B zone and focus on promotional activities to share the BIC Festival’s 12-year legacy and brand value with global industry stakeholders.
Additionally, the B2C Indie House section will support the exhibition participation of four BIC 2025 award-winning titles. Developers will have a valuable opportunity to directly engage with gamers around the world, gather live feedback, and review localization strategies for entering the Asian market.
Four original and sophisticated works target the Chinese market.
With exhibition support from the BIC Organizing Committee, the four games participating in the Taipei Game Show will explore their potential in the Asian market, including the Greater China region, based on their unique gameplay and high level of completion.

▲No. 502 (Rats) is a mystery adventure game set at Myeongseo High School that follows the story of the protagonist, Hae-eun. Its robust storytelling and tense narrative development have garnered high expectations from local audiences.
▲Space Revolver (MK Studio) is a grid-based strategic Sokoban puzzle game that utilizes map rotation and gravity manipulation gimmicks. It stands out for its creative level design and intellectual fun. It promises to offer a refreshing challenge to puzzle game enthusiasts.
▲Glutney (Team FG) is a 2D action roguelike game set in the world of Food Hell. It features a unique concept: slay food demons and absorb their powers. Its dynamic visuals and refreshing gameplay are sure to leave a lasting impression on viewers.
Joo Sung-pil, the chairman of the BIC Organizing Committee, said, “The purpose of participating in this TGS 2026 is to increase the global awareness of the BIC Festival and support our indie games to form a global fandom.” He added, “We will continue various promotional activities to inform local gamers and industry insiders of the appeal of the BIC Festival and help Korean indie games successfully settle into the Asian market.”
