The indie game platform ‘Stove Indie’ operated by Smilegate Stove (CEO Han Young-Woon) officially released the 2D strategy RPG ‘Heroes Hour’ developed by ThingOnItsOwn (CEO Benjamin Hauer) and sold it at a 10% discount. Various events were announced on the 10th (Thursday).
Heroes Hour is a strategy game that can be enjoyed in depth and light by combining turn-based city development and real-time automatic battles. It is similar to ‘Heroes of Might and Magic 3’, which was called a ‘masterpiece’ in the past, but has recently added game sensibility such as 2D dot visuals and real-time battles.
Users must control several heroes every turn to acquire field items, defeat enemies to raise their level, and learn and nurture skills. Also, in the city, you can build buildings and recruit troops every turn to increase your army and distribute it to each hero to increase your combat power. A map is randomly generated each time you start, so you can feel new fun each time, and you can freely try a unique strategy or nurturing tree.
StoveIndy has extended the sale period of Heroes Hour at a 10% discount until March 31st. In addition, a 2,000 won cashback coupon that can be used at Stove Indy will be provided to all purchasers until March 31, and a sales event will be started in which the first 300 people will receive a Deform Block made with the motif of Heroes Hour. In addition, an event to additionally pay an iPad mini 6 through a lottery among users who applied for the Deform Block event is also in progress.
Smilegate Stove CEO Han Young-woon said, “Heroes Hour is a light but deep work made with dot graphics, and it is a game that we wanted to show to domestic game fans at the stove. We will do our best to showcase it.”
