    Kakao developer conference ‘if kakao dev 2022’ to be held next month

    Kakao (CEO Hong Eun-taek) held ‘if kakao dev 2022 (hereinafter referred to as ‘if kakao’)’, a developer conference covering all industries from finance to mobility, webtoon, game, and AI, from December 7 to 9 online. It was announced on the 23rd.

    Kakao organized the session with an emphasis on honestly looking back on what was lacking this year and moving forward again to create a better world with technology. In the keynote, the cause of the service failure caused by the Pangyo SK C&C data center fire on October 15 will be analyzed, and measures to prevent a recurrence, including infrastructure investment plans, will be revealed.

    Kakao will make stable service provision its top priority and explain its cause identification, application of multiplexing measures to all areas, investment, and engineering innovation efforts.

    On the second day, five special sessions of ‘1015 Retrospective’ will be held to explain multiplexing technologies in detail individually and to share technical improvements.     The last day is △’Kakao Brain’s text-based image generation technology’ △’How can super-giant AI technology be used in healthcare?’ △’Kakao T Agent’s New Connection Server Development’ △’Which blockchain suits the metaverse?’ It consists of about 50 technology presentations, including Kakao Pay, and a separate meetup session to inform Kakao Pay’s growth process and working culture.

    Lee Chae-young, head of Kakao’s technology division, said, “We plan to deliver the concerns and technological experiences of Kakao community developers to overcome the limitations of service without adding or subtracting.” ”he said.
