    The 17th Gyeonggi Game Audition, ‘Blackout’ was selected as the final winner

    Gyeonggi Province announced on the 8th that ‘Blackout’ developed by ‘Outdoor Unit Operation’ (CEO Seol Jae-seok) won the final victory at the ’17th Gyeonggi Game Audition’.

    Hosted by Gyeonggi Province on the 7th and organized by the Gyeonggi Content Agency, this audition was held under the theme of ‘Global Sector’ at the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center in Pangyo.

    In this audition, 6 domestic and foreign industry experts from Nicalis, Ripples, Microsoft (MS), Sony Interactive Entertainment Korea (SIEK), Xsollar, and Tilting Point will be judged Invited as a member, he gave advice and evaluations for domestic games to enter the global market.

    In the final audition, 5 games were selected as Top 5 by adding up the evaluation of professional judges and the mock investment score of the audience evaluation group at 7:3.

    ‘Blackout’, which took first place, is a ‘2D dot side-view 4-player co-op zombie shooter, in which gamers become special forces to defeat zombies in various fields and perform various missions.

    2nd place is Father Maid’s (CEO Lee Chan-soo)’s ‘Cat Kingdom’ and Candle (CEO Yang Jae-seong)’s ‘Pygmalion’, 3rd place is Gemseong Games (CEO Yuk Tak-ki)’s ‘For your well-being’, and Tri-Pearl Games (CEO Jung Man). Son)’s ‘Veda’ won the award.

    The 5 final selected games (TOP5) include ▲ 1st place (1 team) 50 million won, 2nd place (2 teams) 30 million won, 3rd place (2 teams) 20 million won, etc. ▲Pangyo Gyeonggi Global Game Center will receive additional points when applying for occupancy ▲Game test (QA. Quality Assurance), sound, video, translation, marketing, etc. follow-up support programs for commercialization, etc. are provided.

    In addition, all 10 games (TOP10) that have advanced to the final audition are eligible to apply for the follow-up support program, and various marketing and cloud services provided by the Gyeonggi Game Audition sponsors (One Store, NHN cloud, AWS, MS, Akamai, KOCHAVA, and the back end) Services ▲ All previous game auditions and exchange opportunities are provided.

    In this audition, the newly created ‘PlayStation’s Pick’ was selected as ‘Veda’ of ‘Tripal Games (CEO Manson Jeong)’ and ‘Blackout’ of ‘Outdoor Unit Operation (CEO Seol Jae-seok)’. We will discuss whether to participate in Sony Interactive Entertainment’s indie game support program.
