The Gwangju Information & Content Agency (GICON), led by President Kyung-ju Lee, has officially begun its search for the city’s brightest indie game talents. Announced on March 3rd, the “IndiStars 11th Generation” program aims to discover local developers with creative ideas and provide them with the resources needed to transition from “idea” to “startup.”
The ‘IndiStars’ Support Package
Selected teams will enter a comprehensive ecosystem designed to bridge the gap between amateur hobbyists and professional developers. From May to October, participants will receive:

By offering financial aid and professional mentorship, GICON aims to solidify Gwangju’s position as a regional hub for the gaming industry. “IndiStars has played a pivotal role in discovering and nurturing creative local talent,” said GICON President Kyung-ju Lee. “We will spare no effort in supporting these aspiring developers so they can become leaders in our regional game ecosystem.”
