This competition, which marks its second anniversary this year following last year, is a competition for the public-private partnership to expand the domestic metaverse industry and discover and nurture outstanding talent.
Any student (elementary/middle/high school/university (graduate) student) and the general public who are interested in the metaverse can participate, and 43 excellent teams will be selected for a total of more than 200 million won in prize money and the Minister of Science, Technology, Information and Communication Award (2 points) ), the Korea Radio Promotion Association President’s Award (4 points), the Korea Metaverse Industry Association President’s Award (4 points) , and the Sponsoring Company Representative Award (33 points).
This contest is recruiting participants from May 31st to June 28th, July 1st We plan to hold a briefing session on the operation of the competition for participants. Then, after the submission of entries is closed by August 22, the final 43 winners will be selected by the end of September after preliminary and final screening.
An online metaverse development basic education course is operated so that even beginners who are new to metaverse development can easily take on the challenge, and technical support is always provided to solve difficulties encountered in the development process.
In addition, customized experts are designated for the teams that advance to the finals for about 3 weeks. Through one-on-one counseling, we provide an opportunity to advance development results and increase the possibility of commercialization.
The field of participation is divided into a designated task developed on a specific subject using software authoring tools of domestic and foreign companies and a free task with no restrictions on form or subject.
