The G-STAR Organizing Committee (Chairman Young-ki Cho) has officially revealed the key programs and schedule for G-STAR 2025, Korea’s largest international game exhibition. Now in its 21st year, the show promises to deliver a more diverse, content-rich experience that celebrates both major publishers and the global indie scene.

NCSoft Joins as Main Sponsor with 300-Booth Showcase
For the first time, NCSoft will serve as the event’s main sponsor, building a massive 300-booth exhibition space—the largest within the BTC Hall. The company plans to feature hands-on demos of its upcoming titles alongside a variety of interactive fan events, creating one of the most immersive show floors in G-STAR history.

A New Visual Identity with Webtoon Collaboration
G-STAR also unveiled a new key visual created in collaboration with acclaimed webtoon artist Moon Jung-hoo (known for Yongbi the Invincible, Gosu, Asura). The artwork will be featured across the exhibition venue, online platforms, and promotional campaigns. Organizers confirmed this marks the start of an annual artist collaboration project, making the event’s visuals a unique evolving tradition.

G-CON 2025 – Narrative Takes Center Stage
Returning as one of G-STAR’s flagship programs, G-CON 2025 will focus on “Narrative” as its main theme. Creators from across games, film, webtoons, and animation will explore the power of storytelling through panels, dialogues, and discussions rather than standard presentations. Confirmed speakers include developers from Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Baldur’s Gate 3, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
Sponsored by Monster Energy as the official drink partner, G-CON 2025 runs November 13–14 at Busan BEXCO’s convention hall, with additional speaker announcements coming later this month.

Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy Expands Again
First introduced in 2024 for G-STAR’s 20th anniversary, the Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy returns in an even larger format this year. The section will feature a wider range of indie titles from both Korean and international developers, providing players with hands-on experiences and offering studios a platform for idea exchange and networking. Organizers hope the expanded showcase cements indie content as a core pillar of G-STAR moving forward.

Looking Ahead
“This year’s G-STAR marks a new beginning for the next 20 years of gaming,” said Chairman Cho. “We aim to showcase the limitless potential of games and their future vision while continuing to drive innovation in the global industry.”
G-STAR 2025 takes place from November 13 to 16 at Busan BEXCO, promising a festival that blends blockbuster reveals, creative storytelling, and indie innovation into one unforgettable event.

Tickets Open October 14
To ensure safety and fairness, 100% pre-sale ticketing continues this year, with optimizations based on visitor data and crowd flow analysis. Enhanced security coordination with police, fire, and on-site teams will also be in place. Tickets will be available starting October 14 via the official G-STAR website and mobile app.
