Business matching with domestic and international publishers, investors, and platforms… Consulting revenue expected to reach $200 million by 2025.
The ‘2026 PlayX4’, the largest gaming event in the metropolitan area, hosted and organized by Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Content Agency, will be held at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province in May.
This event will be divided into two tracks: B2B and B2C. The B2B export consultation will be held in Hall 5A of KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 for two days, from Thursday, May 21st to Friday, May 22nd. The B2C event will be held in Halls 3, 4, and 5B for four days, from Sunday, May 21st to Sunday, May 24th.
The PlayX4 B2B Export Consultation, currently recruiting participating companies, is a program that supports publishing contracts, investment attraction, and expansion of global collaboration opportunities through business matching between domestic game developers, global publishers, investors, and platform companies.
B2B business matching encompassing publishing, investment, and global collaboration.
The core of the PlayX4 B2B export consultation meeting is one-on-one business matching between domestic game developers and domestic and foreign publishers, investors, and platforms.
Beyond simple exhibitions and promotional events, the focus is on connecting with publishing contracts, attracting overseas investment, and opportunities for global collaboration. For game developers, this provides an opportunity to connect with global buyers in one place, without the need for separate overseas travel.
Export consultations expected to reach $200 million by 2025… Growing into Korea’s leading B2B game show.
PlayX4 B2B has established itself as a representative B2B platform in the domestic game industry by accumulating visible business results every year.
In particular, the 2025 event achieved a record-breaking export consultation volume of $200 million. This figure demonstrates that PlayX4 is moving beyond a simple game exhibition to serving as a practical export bridgehead.
The 2026 event is expected to see participation from a variety of industry players, including domestic game developers, publishers, investors, and platform companies.
Not only developers, but also publishers and investors can participate.
This recruitment is open to not only domestic game developers, but also publishers, investors, platform providers, and other stakeholders across the gaming industry. Rather than focusing on one-way support focused on developers, the program aims to foster collaboration among participants from across the industry ecosystem.
Through this, participating companies can secure various business opportunities, such as ▲ game publishing contract discussions ▲ investment attraction consultations ▲ global platform collaborations ▲ overseas market entry strategy development.
The Gyeonggi Content Agency plans to simultaneously support the expansion of domestic game companies’ global networks and the establishment of a foundation for overseas expansion through PlayX4.
Applications for participation in the event and detailed inquiries can be made through the official website of the Gyeonggi Content Agency ( www.gcon.or.kr ) or the official Play Expo channel.
