- Steam Page Revealed for Landspotting’s Physics-Based 1-4 Player Co-op Game
- A comic co-op game for 1–4 players featuring distance-based voice chat and physics action
Grab the loot, throw it in the cart, and run. Watch out for the angry villagers, the crows overhead, the rival foxes, and your own friends’ terrible aim with the cannon. Indie developer Land Spotting has revealed Foxalot: Steal Together, an online co-op heist game for one to four players, and opened its Steam store page.
In Foxalot: Steal Together, players become a gang of cute foxes stealing treasure from a village. The goal is to pick up physics-driven loot, load it into a handcart, and haul it safely back to camp.
Everything in the game obeys physics, and floppy ragdoll animation plus ridiculous costumes give the whole thing a cheerful, slapstick feel. Proximity voice chat, built to make every moment feel live and chaotic, is billed as one of its core attractions.
Steal the Loot, Get It to Camp, Fend Off Everyone
The goal is simple; getting there is not. Players must shake off angry villagers in pursuit and fend off crows that swoop down to snatch foxes into the sky.
On top of that, AI-controlled rival fox gangs compete for the same treasure, turning every heist into a brawl. Players can use swords, pistols, and anything else they can get their paws on as a weapon. Holding off pursuers while moving the loot sets off plenty of physics-fueled chaos.
Four Jobs, Then a Vote: Cash Out or Go Bigger?
Each run consists of four jobs. Difficulty climbs steeply as you go, with random modifiers such as fog, crow storms, and market days creating unpredictable situations. Meet the treasure quota on all four jobs to earn the final payout.
Right after securing the payout, the gang votes: head back to camp with the money safely in hand, or risk a brutally hard challenge for an even bigger reward. Money already secured stays safe even during the extra challenge.
Ziplines, Cannons, and the Magic of Proximity Chat
The gameplay is packed with absurd physics antics. Players can zipline between rooftops, throw grappling hooks to climb walls, and use ropes to tie any objects together. Cannons can launch loot, or fellow foxes, all the way across the map.
Proximity voice chat amplifies all of this. When carrying heavy loot, teammates need to stay close enough to hear each other, and when a crow carries a friend off into the sky, their screams fade as they get farther away.
Back at camp after a job, players can gamble their stolen money on roulette and slot machines to win new costume pieces such as wizard hats and samurai armor. Foxes can also be hand-painted for further customization.
Who This Is For
Strong fit for: friend groups who love physics co-op chaos in the vein of Lethal Company, R.E.P.O., or PEAK; anyone who enjoys proximity voice chat moments; players who like push-your-luck risk-and-reward decisions; cosmetic collectors and customizers.
Cautious fit for: solo players, as the game supports one player but is clearly built around group chaos; Korean-speaking players, since only English is listed.
Less ideal for: those seeking a precise, tactical stealth heist; this is about slapstick, not planning.
What to Watch For
With the Steam page only recently opened, there are no user reviews yet. The demo and full version are expected soon, with the Steam page listing October 2026. The real test will be whether the physics chaos and proximity chat generate the kind of shareable, laugh-out-loud moments that make friend-group co-op games spread.
The Takeaway
Foxalot: Steal Together has a clear, appealing pitch: cute foxes, physics loot, ragdoll mayhem, a cash-out-or-double-down vote, and proximity chat that turns every crow abduction into a fading scream. The friend-slop co-op space is crowded, but a heist structure with escalating jobs and random modifiers gives it a hook beyond pure chaos. Whether it lands will come down to how funny it actually is with friends.
Steam page: live now. Demo and full release: coming soon (October 2026 per Steam).
