- Steam Page Revealed for Landspotting’s Physics-Based 1-4 Player Co-op Game
- A comic co-op game for 1–4 players featuring distance-based voice chat and physics action
Indie game developer Land Spotting has unveiled the 1-4 player online cooperative heist game ‘Foxalot: Steal Together’ and opened the Steam store page.
‘Fox Charlotte: Steel Together’ is a cooperative action game where you play as a cute fox gang stealing treasure from a village. The goal is to lift the treasure yourself using a physics engine, load it onto a wheelbarrow, and safely drag it back to the camp.
Not only are physics laws applied to every object in the game, but the addition of a wobbly ragdoll physics system and ridiculous costumes creates a cheerful and comical atmosphere throughout the title. Furthermore, the ‘distance-based voice chat,’ which promises to deliver a vivid sense of realism, is also a noteworthy element promised as a core source of fun.
Steal the treasure and head to the camp… A brawl with troublemakers swarming from all sides
The goal of the game is simple, but the process is arduous. The player must shake off the pursuit of angry villagers and fend off interference from crows descending from the sky to snatch the fox.
A chaotic battle ensues as a gang of AI (bot) foxes, competing for the same treasure, join the fray. Players can use any item they can obtain as a weapon, including swords and pistols. As they move the treasure while fending off pursuing obstacles, comical antics utilizing physics effects unfold.
After four jobs, should I take the pay or take on a bigger challenge?
A single round of the game consists of a total of four detailed tasks. The difficulty increases steeply as you progress, and random variables such as fog, crowstorms, and market days are added, creating unpredictable situations. You earn the final reward if you meet the target treasure amount in all four tasks.
Immediately after securing the reward, the party members hold a vote. Here, they must decide whether to safely collect the reward and return to the camp, or to challenge the extreme difficulty in pursuit of a greater reward. The reward already secured is safely preserved even during the additional challenge.
Physics chaos created by ziplines and cannons… The charm of distance-based voice chat
The gameplay is filled with all sorts of outrageous physics antics. You can race through rooftops on ziplines, climb walls by throwing grappling hooks, and tie any object together using ropes. In particular, utilizing cannons allows for unconventional gameplay where you can blast not only treasure but even your fox companions to the other side of the map.
These physics effects are maximized by creating synergy with ‘distance-based voice chat.’ When moving heavy treasure, you must cooperate by staying close enough to hear each other’s voices, and comical and vivid situations are created, such as a friend being kidnapped by a crow and dragged up into the sky whose screaming voice gets quieter as the distance increases.
When you return to camp after completing a task, you can bet the stolen money on a roulette or slot machine to acquire new costume pieces, such as a wizard hat or samurai armor. It also supports the fun of customizing by painting the fox yourself.
Early stages of public release… Real ‘chemistry’ with users is key to success
Currently, the Steam store page for ‘Foxalo: Steel Together’ is active, but as it is still in the early stages of public release, no user reviews have been registered. The release date is listed as October 2026 , and both the demo and full versions are scheduled to be released soon.
It is predicted that the key to the future success of ‘Foxalo: Steel Together’ will be how much enjoyable laughter the unique ‘outrageous commotion that occurs when playing with friends’ of physics-based cooperative games elicits during actual gameplay.
