- Winner of the Sound category at BIC 2024… Also selected for TGS 2026 ‘SELECTED INDIE 80’
- Steam Early Access receives ‘Very Positive’ rating… Aiming for simultaneous PC and mobile release on October 14.
Indie game developer Que Sera Games has confirmed October 14 as the official release date for the story rhythm game ‘Nientum – Op.ZERO’, which was released on Steam Early Access last November.
‘Nientum – Op.ZERO’ is a musical-style story rhythm game where you run behind the stage and play notes in time using 2-key controls. Two girls, Liora and Aleph, wake up in a forgotten theater having lost their memories. They take the stage as an actor and a stage director, respectively, and the ending of the story changes depending on the player’s choices.
In the official version, new Chapters 6 through 10 are added to the existing Early Access content, bringing the main story to a conclusion. Additionally, 20 new songs are added to the Free Play mode, along with additional chapters that can be enjoyed after clearing the story.
In addition, a collection feature to check the collectible elements of Story Mode, a Hard difficulty for all songs in Story Mode, and a scene skip function are scheduled to be newly added. The price of the official release will remain at 23,000 won, the same as Early Access.
The game includes over 30 songs and story tracks consisting of more than 10 chapters, providing over 12 hours of playtime based on the main story. The songs in the main story support Japanese vocals, and the dialogue of the main characters is fully voiced by Japanese voice actors.
Chika Anzai took on the role of Aleph, Yuki Takada as Liora, and Takehito Koyasu as Mordred. Domestic and international composers such as Kagetora, Halv, and seatrus participated in the sound design.
‘Nientum – Op.ZERO’ was also selected for the ‘SELECTED INDIE 80’ at Tokyo Game Show 2026. A demo booth where visitors can experience the game firsthand will be showcased at the Tokyo Game Show, which will be held at Makuhari Messe in Japan from September 17 to 21.
Meanwhile, ‘Nientum – Op.ZERO’ was released on Steam Early Access on November 24, 2025, and is currently receiving ‘very positive’ ratings in Steam user reviews. The official release will take place via PC Steam and supports Korean, Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
Que Sera Games is a South Korean game company that develops and services the rhythm games ‘KALPA’ and ‘KALPA: Cosmic Symphony’. ‘KALPA’ has recorded 1.7 million cumulative global downloads, and ‘Nientum – Op.ZERO’ has been selected for BIC 2024 ‘Excellence In Audio’, 2nd place at the gamescom asia 2024 Audience Awards, and Google Indie Game Accelerator 2024.
