KOGAS is recruiting new companies for its Global Game Hub Center in the first half of the year.

▶ For small and medium-sized game companies, early-stage entrepreneurs, and prospective startup teams… Applications must be submitted by 11:00 AM on March 26th.
▶ Support for residential space and development infrastructure/capacity enhancement programs

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Choi Hwi-young) and the Korea Creative Content Agency (Acting President Yoo Hyun-seok, hereinafter referred to as KOCCA) announced that they are recruiting new companies to occupy the Global Game Hub Center in the first half of 2026. Through this announcement, a total of 32 small and medium-sized game companies and prospective and early-stage startup teams will be selected, providing them with space, development infrastructure, and capacity-building programs.

Located on the 8th and 9th floors of the LH Enterprise Growth Center in Pangyo Techno Valley 2, Gyeonggi Province, the Global Game Hub Center supports the growth of small and medium-sized game companies with growth potential, early-stage startups under five years old, and aspiring startup teams. The center provides space and various support programs to help these companies develop games and expand their businesses steadily.

32 companies selected through the first round of recruitment in the first half of the year… Support for space and development infrastructure.

Through the first round of recruitment in the first half of the year, a total of 32 companies will be selected, including 14 companies to be part of the Global Game Hub Center and 18 teams to be part of the Game Venture 4.0 program. Selected companies will receive support for office space rent and management fees, as well as ongoing access to necessary game development infrastructure, including development software and mobile and virtual reality (VR) game testbeds.

In particular, this year, in line with industry changes, we plan to enhance the development capabilities of small and medium-sized game companies by strengthening education and consulting on games and artificial intelligence (AI) linkages and programs utilizing motion capture to improve game development efficiency.

Any domestic small and medium-sized gaming company can apply to be a tenant at the Global Game Hub Center. Selected companies will receive subsidies covering 80% of rent and 50% of management fees. The initial residency period is two years, with excellent companies eligible for extensions of up to four years through first and second evaluations. Game Venture 4.0 is open to game developers preparing to launch or established for less than five years as of the announcement date, and will receive full support for residency costs for up to two years.

Systematic support for corporate growth, from education on the latest industry and technology trends to management consulting.

Tenant companies can access a variety of systematic programs necessary for business operations and game development. These programs include training on the latest industry and technology trends, management consulting on tax, accounting, and legal matters, investor relations (IR) consulting for attracting investment, and investor presentation events (demo days) for investors. These programs support business growth.

Applications for the program are accepted through the KOCCA website (www.kocca.kr). After reviewing the announcement, prepare the relevant documents and submit your application online by 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 26th.

KOCCA Game Technology Division Director Kim Seong-jun said, “The Global Game Hub Center will continue to provide systematic support so that resident companies can grow into leading players in the game industry, such as actively listening to the opinions of small and medium-sized game companies in line with the changing trends in the game industry related to AI and expanding networking opportunities between companies.”
