3D content development tool specialist UModeler has announced the official launch of the ‘UModeler X Personal’ license on August 5, designed to make high-quality 3D content creation more accessible for indie developers, 3D artists, and individual creators for platforms such as VRChat and ZEPETO.
UModeler X is an all-in-one tool that allows users to model, edit UVs, paint textures, and apply non-rigged animations directly within the Unity Editor—eliminating the need for external DCC tools like Blender or Maya. This seamless workflow enables rapid prototyping for indie game developers, real-time quality checks for 3D artists, and direct publishing for VRChat/ZEPETO creators without repetitive exporting and importing.
The Personal License includes a wide range of features such as modeling, rigging, painting, curve meshes, and text tools—all integrated into Unity. Additional capabilities include AI-powered texture generation, UV unwrapping, SketchUp-style rendering, and full Unity integration. Designed with intuitiveness in mind, UModeler claims that beginners can master the basics in under an hour, reducing both development time and costs.
The Personal Plan is available via the official UModeler website, with a free trial offered to new users without requiring credit card registration.
To celebrate the launch, UModeler is offering special upgrade benefits:
- UModeler X Plus owners will receive a free one-year Personal License and a Permanent Fallback License (PFL) for continued use without a subscription.
- Original UModeler owners are eligible for a 30% discount on their first year of the Personal License, with the opportunity to obtain a PFL after maintaining a subscription for one year.
Jae-sik Hwang, CEO of UModeler, stated:
“Many Unity creators want to simplify the complex process of 3D production. The Personal License offers them an intuitive yet powerful environment, giving creators more freedom to bring their ideas to life.”
