    ‘BIC Festival 2022’ supporters Big Connectors 2nd activity ends

    The Busan Indie Connect Festival Organizing Committee announced on the 24th that the activities of the 2nd ‘Big Connectors’ of the ‘Busan Indie Connect Festival 2022’ (hereinafter referred to as BIC Festival 2022) had officially ended.

    ‘Big Connectors,’ which was first recruited at the time of BIC Festival 2021, is a compound word of BIC Festival and Connectors, and the meaning of ‘those who act as a focal point connecting the BIC Festival, indie game developers, and gamers.’

    The first group of Big Connectors, which gathered those who are more sincere than anyone else at indie games and BIC festivals, completed their activities successfully last year with enthusiastic support. Thanks to this, the 2nd generation of the 90 new Big Connectors recruited this year also performed a lot both online and offline during the BIC Festival 2022 period, as well as before and after the event.

    The second season of Big Connectors started its official activities in July, when voting for entries to participate in the ‘Connect Pick’ section, which was newly established this year, was held. As it is a section newly created for games that the public wants to meet again at the exhibition site, Big Connectors, who has a deep affection for indie games, is said to have had the effect of actively reflecting the opinions of the public.

    Then, on the demo day held for a month in August, they played the exhibition this year in advance and produced review content. This activity, designed to provide rich feedback to developers who participated in the exhibition and to provide guides on gameplay to online viewers, recorded a total of 2,200 reviews and received a great response from developers and visitors as well as from inside Big Connectors. got it

    In addition, he participated in the offline festival held from September 1 to 4, held a stage event planned by himself, met and communicated with developers at the site, and actively spread the indie game culture through various SNS, including YouTube and Instagram. During the event, a party exclusively for Big Connectors was held to communicate with each other and share a passion for indie games.

    In addition, during the online exhibition period of the BIC Festival, which was extended until September 30, he continued to produce reviews and BIC-related content and actively engaged in promotional activities. The activities of Big Connectors over the past four months can be seen through the full activity sketch video released on the BIC official YouTube channel on the 21st. In particular, most of the videos were produced using content filmed directly by Big Connectors, giving a more meaningful finish.

    All the 2nd Big Connectors members who completed their activities this year were provided with benefits, including NFT, which certifies the completion of the activity.

    One Big Connector who was selected and participated in this year’s activities said, “I applied to Big Connectors to feel the fun of various indie games, breaking away from my stereotype of preferring only specific games and genres. It was a lot of fun to see indie game lovers enjoying the game together.”
