Global developer conference ‘Unite 2022’ held on November 1st

    By Editorial Team2022년 10월 24일Updated:2023년 06월 24일3 Mins Read

Unity will hold the global developer conference ‘Unite 2022’ on November 1 and provide an interpretation service for domestic Unity developers on November 3.

‘Unite’ is a place where you can meet the latest technologies and projects of Unity and a global representative developer conference where you can share insights with Unity and industry experts. As this is the first event held in the United States in three years since ‘Unite Copenhagen’ in 2019, Unite 2022 is expected to provide more attractions and useful information.

In particular, this year, a separate interpretation service for domestic developers will be provided to provide the main sessions of Unite quickly and accurately. It will be translated into Korean, focusing on key sessions such as Unite 2022 keynote, Unity’s 2023 roadmap, and Unity Gaming Service (UGS), and will be released through Unity Korea’s official YouTube channel from 9 am on November 3rd.

First of all, in ‘Unite 2022 Keynote’, Unity leaders and famous developers, including Unity CEO John Riccitiello, will be speakers and introduce new features of Unity. Through the keynote, you can see the first exclusive announcement, the future development direction of Unity, the latest tools, and the technology roadmap.

In ‘About Unity’s Roadmap to 2023’, Senior Director of Product Management Andrew Bowell will explain Unity’s roadmap for 2023 and Unity’s vision. It also reveals future development plans for DOTS (Data-Oriented Technology Stack), graphics, artist tools, and multiplayer games.

A session was also prepared to introduce future updates of UGS, a modular platform for live game development that was officially launched in June. In ‘Unity Gaming Service: What Happens in the Next 6 Months’, the UGS product team will step up to announce future updates, including multiplayer, community solutions, and player engagement.

In addition, various sessions will be held by indie and studio developers and artists, from sessions exploring the core features of Unity, such as Unity’s various lighting systems and the Unity Profiler.

Kim In-sook, CEO of Unity Korea, said, “This Unite offers a variety of sessions for Unity creators, from the blueprint of Unity to useful information on game development and service. We ask for your interest and participation.”

Meanwhile, on November 2nd, the ‘Unity for Humanity Summit 2022 (Unity for Humanity Summit 2022)’ was held to introduce how creators around the world are implementing experiences that have a positive and meaningful impact on society and the planet. )’ it will also be prepared to share examples and insights of creators who create social influence.

At this Unity for Humanity Summit, a time to share innovative real-time 3D projects and practical application cases of social impact creators in Korea and Japan is prepared, which is expected to attract the attention of Unity creators around the world. Through ‘Influence and Inspiration: APAC Creators Project Showcase,’ Kangsters CEO Kim Kang (Tyrion), Seoul Shinga Elementary School teacher Wang Kyung-eun, and Jincheon Sangsan Elementary School teacher Lee Sang-min will introduce examples of real-time 3D use.

More details on ‘Unite 2022’, which will be provided as a Korean interpretation service on November 3, can be found on the official website and can be viewed on the Unity Korea official YouTube channel.
