Take Two Interactive’s publishing label, Private Division, announced on the 21st that it has signed four new publishing deals with independent developers The Gut Fabric, Evening Star, Piccolo Studios and Yellow Brick Games.
The Private Division, represented by Kerbal Space Program, Olioli World, and Outer World, plans to further expand its portfolio through new projects from four studios, starting with the acquisition of Roll 7 in January.

Headquartered in Copenhagen, Di Gut Fabric was founded in 2008 by Nils Deneken and is currently headed by CEO and Creative Director Hannah Nicklin. It mainly develops story-based games, and in 2019, ‘Mutajione’, which won the IGF and Indycade, is its representative work.
‘Mutazione’ is a story-oriented game where mutations and supernatural stories meet. D. Gut Fabric is inspired by various fields and histories, and strives to push the limits of the game. Currently, I am developing a story-based game.

The Evening Star was founded in 2018 by Christian Whitehead, Dave Purdillar, Tom Fry, Hunter Bridges and Brad Flick, headquartered in Los Angeles, with studios in London and Melbourne. The founding members previously developed Sega’s ‘Sonic Mania Plus’, and their unpublished debut title is a 3D action platform game that utilizes their own technology star engine.

Piccolo Studio was founded in 2015 by Alexis Corominas, Jordi Ministral, and Oriole Puhado after they left the advertising agency. After that, the game, which was debuted by recruiting talented game developers, was praised by critics as ‘Arise: A Simple Story’. It is currently developing a new IP through a partnership with the Private Division.

Yellow Brick Games was founded in Quebec in 2020 by industry veterans Thomas Giroud, Mike Reider, Jeff Skalski and Frederick Saint Laurent. With team members with experience in many AAA franchises such as ‘Dragon Age’, ‘Assassin’s Creed’ and ‘Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six’, Yellow Brick Games aims to present immersive gameplay with a small elite team.
