September 24, 2025 – Seoul — Global indie publisher Devolver Digital has officially released Baby Steps, a new physics-driven walking simulator developed by Gabe Cuzzillo, Maxi Boch, and Bennett Foddy. The game is now available worldwide on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5, priced at ₩21,500 KRW, with full Korean language support.

A Story About Finding Meaning, One Step at a Time
Baby Steps follows the story of Nate, an unemployed man with nothing to his name, who suddenly discovers a hidden ability: walking. But for Nate, even standing upright is a monumental challenge. Players guide him step by step through a fog-shrouded world, climbing quiet mountains, encountering wildlife, and searching for meaning in an otherwise aimless life.
Gameplay: Walking as a Challenge
The game’s standout feature is its realistic physics-based walking simulation. Every step must be manually controlled by the player, moving itself the game’s core challenge. This unique mechanic transforms the simple act of walking into a humorous yet deeply engaging experience.
Immersive Atmosphere
- A dynamic soundtrack of 420 beats and moods adapts to the player’s progress, making the world feel alive and responsive.
- The journey takes place on a vast mountain, where players can climb at their own pace — or even slower — reflecting the game’s philosophy of finding value in walking itself.
- A clothing dirt system visually records Nate’s journey, leaving behind realistic traces of his struggle and progress.
