    Support contents: General corporate legal affairs (drafting and reviewing contracts), legal education, unfair trade damage relief consultation, etc.

    ※ Examples of unfair cases

    • Contract Conclusion: Unfair contract drafting requirements, unfavorable contract terms, reduced compensation, etc.
    • Contract performance: Failure to perform contract, general contract termination, etc.
    • Payment: Improper payment, unclear settlement, etc.
    • Compensation for damages: non-payment of salary, over-calculation of the amount, transfer of responsibility, etc.
    • Planning, production: Cancellation of production in the middle, continuous requests for modifications and supplements, theft of information and ideas, intervention in production activities, etc.
    • Distribution: Discriminatory dealing, conditional dealing, marketing cost transfer, etc.
    • Intellectual property rights: copyright infringement, trademark infringement, etc.

    Eligibility

    • In cases where it is determined that additional consultation is necessary regarding matters for which the first general consultation was conducted
    • In cases where it is recognized that there is a need for support for damage relief due to unfair practices that are difficult for content industry workers and companies to respond to individually and explicitly

    • Consulting on all aspects of contracts, including drafting standard contracts by genre and changing contracts
    • Preparation of legal opinions on unfair practices as stipulated in relevant laws and regulations*
    • Providing litigation-related guidelines and assisting with the preparation of legal forms
    • In-depth legal and tax accounting consulting for those working in other content industries

    * Article 12-2 of the Framework Act on Promotion of Cultural Industries, Article 24 of the Content Industry Promotion Act, Article 26 of the Music Industry Promotion Act, Article 31 of the Game Industry Promotion Act, Article 9 of the Cartoon Promotion Act, Article 28 of the Film and Video Promotion Act, Article 6-2 of the Artists Welfare Act, Article 6 of the Popular Culture and Arts Industry Development Act, Article 23 of the Monopoly Regulation and Fair Trade Act, etc.
