Smilegate indie game platform ‘Stove Indie’ announced on the 8th (Wednesday) that it will release a Korean version of the 3D action roguelike ‘The Awakener Forgotten Oath’ (developer Taner Games) and hold various promotions to commemorate it.
‘The Awakener Forgotten Oath’ is an action roguelike genre game with a high degree of freedom from a third-person perspective. In the fantasy world of ‘Sibalrond,’ you can explore the underground castle, use swords and magic to kill demons, and attack powerful bosses using colorful patterns.
‘Awakener Forgotten Oath’ lets you enjoy the game in a traditional roguelike way, where you acquire new or strengthen existing abilities every time you break through a room. If you die in battle, all capabilities gained are lost. Still, there is also a rogue-lite element that permanently strengthens attack power and stamina with resources acquired by killing enemies, lowering the barrier to entry into the rogue-like genre.
‘Awakener Forgotten Oath’ uses various skills and weapons, allowing for a new way of fighting each battle. At the beginning of the game, you can enjoy the heavy and thrilling play unique to the Soullike genre, and as you enter the mid to late game, you can experience stylish battles like ‘Devil May Cry’ and the thrilling pleasure of Musou.
Stove Indie is holding various promotions to commemorate the release of ‘Awakener Forgotten Vow.’ First, you can purchase the game at a 10% discount until Tuesday the 14th during the super early bird period. Until the 22nd (Wednesday), an additional 5% discount coupon commemorating the launch that can be used at Stove Indie and another 2,000 won discount coupon are provided through the video of influencers Casanovak and Sion.
Stove Indie is directly working on translating ‘The Awakener Forgotten Oath’ into Korean; the Korean version can only be found at Stove Indie. More details about ‘Awakener Forgotten Oath’ can be found on the Stove Indie game page.
