    Indie game ‘Raising Moon Rabbit’ surpasses 1 million downloads globally

    Able Games announced on the 12th that the cumulative number of global downloads of ‘Raising the Moon Rabbit’, an idle RPG developed and serviced by the company, has exceeded 1 million.

    ‘Raising a Moon Rabbit’ is a 2D mobile idle RPG based on a Korean fairy tale in which the main character ‘Rin’ grows up by fighting against the night in search of lost light to protect the lunar kingdom.

    This game was released in Korea on June 26, 2021, and in March 2022, it ranked 35th in domestic Google Play game sales and 1st in simulation genre sales, showing explosive growth as an indie game.

    ‘Raising a Moon Rabbit’ was introduced in about 180 regions through a grand launch in June, starting with a soft launch in May following Korea, and is loved by many as it has surpassed 1 million global downloads in both major markets.

    This popularity is analyzed to have been well received in the global market due to the unique battle method that allows you to create your own skill deck by combining various skills, and the Korean elements in the game, coupled with the enthusiasm for K-content.

    On June 30, it entered Japan and Taiwan and swept the top spot in the Apple App Store and Google Play popularity rankings in both countries with the low entry barrier of idle RPGs and cute and attractive characters.

    In particular, among the games released by Korean start-up developers, it was unusual for it to enter the top 50 in Japan’s App Store sales ranking and top 30 in Taiwan’s App Store sales ranking, attracting attention.
