    Nexon, ‘Dungeon & Fighter Mobile’ officially launched in Korea

    Nexon (CEO Lee Jung-hyun) announced on the morning of the 24th that it had officially launched ‘Dungeon & Fighter Mobile’ in Korea through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

    The game can be accessed by up to 1 million users at the same time, and a character can be created by selecting one of the eight servers. It is operated by dividing it into 12-year-olds and teenagers.

    The two major app markets, which started the day before the launch, achieved a total of 1.2 million pre-downloads and 1.1 million pre-character creations, respectively. It set the record for the most pre-downloads and character creation among mobile games released by Nexon.

    ‘Dungeon & Fighter Mobile’ is a 2D action game that embodies the taste of manual operation enjoyed in arcades in the past under the development slogan of ‘action pleasure’. have.

    The game consists of ▲ 5 representative characters of ear swordsman, fighter, gunner, sorcerer, and priest and 11 former characters ▲ a duel where you face off against opponents with continuous skill attacks (combos) ▲ a difficult lotus raid where up to 6 users work together to attack ▲ The core content of the original Dungeon & Fighter, such as an avatar that gives a character a unique personality, was put on the mobile platform.

    In consideration of user convenience, Nexon also supports a PC version that allows cross-play with a mobile account. Users can download a separate client rather than an emulator (a program that allows smartphone apps to be used on a PC) and play the same on mobile and PC.

    Yoon Myung-jin, general director of Neople, said, “We focused on realizing the fast and exciting action of the original so that adventurers can enjoy it on mobile by maximizing the feeling of direct manipulation.” Myung-Jin Yoon, general director, is a ‘Dunfar Man’ who has only been involved in the development of Dungeon & Fighter IP since joining Neople as a new employee in 2008, and is currently in charge of Neople’s Dungeon & Fighter IP project.

    Choi Seong-wook, head of Nexon’s Publishing Live division, said, “With Dungeon & Fighter IP, one of Korea’s representative cultural contents, we have stood at a new starting line for mobile. The goal is to establish itself as a ‘beloved game’.”

    To commemorate the launch of the game, Nexon will start various events from the 24th. First, there will be 4 connection events that give items such as gold, armor making materials, and fatigue to all users who log in to the game, a level-up event to help the character grow, and a mini-game where you can acquire various consumable items.

    In addition, until May 31st, we will be operating the ‘Under the Month Event Dungeon’ where you can obtain event coins. With the coins collected in the dungeon, you can purchase hell party invitations, unique souls, and event auras and titles, which are necessary to obtain higher-level equipment, at the event shop.
