Supercat announced on the 25th that it was recruiting students for the 3rd semester of the ‘Supercat Dot Academy (SDA)’, a program for nurturing future dot artists.
SDA is a program in which Supercat’s incumbent dot artists teach from theory to practice during a 12-week training course.
The high employment conversion rate is also impressive. The recruitment pass rate of the first SDA students in the past was 90%, and the second semester students, who are currently preparing for the last parking curriculum, created a surprising result of 100% hiring confirmation. As a result, SDA has grown into a dot artist in a short period of time and is known as a door to employment.
Students who have been confirmed to be hired can apply for the large-scale multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) ‘Land of the Wind: Kite’, the metaverse platform ‘ZEP’, as well as the new projects ‘Hwanse Chihojeon’ and ‘Project D’. will join the project.
In addition, as Supercat started developing a new project this year, the number of students for the SDA 3rd class was greatly expanded from 10 to 20 to more actively recruit students and foster art professionals.
Applications for this SDA 3rd semester will be accepted until April 8th, and those who pass the document screening and interview will participate in the 12-week training course from April 25th to July 15th.
The training course is completely free, and students can receive training from a field-based curriculum that cultivates practical skills as well as mentoring from on-the-ground dot artists. The use of the study space as well as the use of convenience facilities such as in-house convenience stores and cafes are all free.
Hoon Kim, Art Director of Supercat, said, “I was able to discover the amazing possibilities and passion that I saw during the recruitment and conversion of the first semester of Supercat Dot Academy. We will contribute to strengthening Supercat’s capabilities and developing the game industry.”
