The Korea Creative Content Agency, Haru Entertainment, Sogang University Industry-University Cooperation Foundation, and Korea Digital Game Association announced on the 10th that they will recruit additional trainees (mentees) for the content creative talent companion project in 2022 to foster competitive creators in the content industry.
The additional recruitment of creative trainees can be applied by any prospective creator with creative talents and knowledge between the ages of 18 and 34. The total number of additional recruits is 8, and if you apply as a team, you can apply up to 3 people. The final selected creative trainees will be provided with indie game developer training mentoring support and a monthly creative support of 1.5 million won per person.
The creative talent partnership project has fostered many indie games. Representatively, Pixelian’s ‘Babel’ was published in Korea for the first time by Nickelas, who is famous as the publisher of the indie game ‘Isaac’, and Olive Crow’s ‘Great Sword’, which was selected as the TOP 10 Google Indie Game Festival in 2020, was the best seller on Steam in 2019. ‘Retropolis’ of Kassel Games, which ranked first, also completed the indie game developer training course, which is a creative talent companion business.
You can apply for detailed project announcements and participation through the Naver ‘Indiple’ cafe notice or poster QR code, and the additional recruitment period is from May 9 (Mon) to May 16 (Mon) 11 am. . For more information, please use the Kakao Talk Consultation Center.
