The indie game festival IndieCraft 2025 held its final official event—the Global IR Demo Day—in the early hours of December 10 (KST), bringing this year’s program to a successful close.
Hosted by Seongnam City and co-organized by the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency and the Korea Mobile Game Association, this closing event was designed to support selected indie studios with meaningful opportunities for global investment and market expansion.
This year’s Demo Day was strengthened by strategic support from Xsolla Global, a worldwide leader in game payment and operations solutions, and FromtheRed, a B2B gamification specialist. Their global networks and professional mentorship offered participating teams a rare, high-impact pitching environment.

Four Finalists Compete for Global Investment Opportunities
The online event featured four finalist teams from IndieCraft’s Domestic and Community divisions—each selected through intense competition earlier this year. The presenting studios were:
- Areumdamsa, creator of LunaHop, a healing adventure set in modern Seoul
- Hypercent, gaining global attention with its co-op multiplayer horror title Backroom Company
- Ortus Games, developer of the original strategy simulation Winter of Arbuyen
- Studio BBB, the team behind the puzzle action-adventure Monowave
Each studio delivered a 10-minute English presentation using a polished IR pitch deck, followed by a rigorous Q&A session. Six global judges—including investors and international publishers—challenged the teams on business models, monetization strategies, and global marketing plans.
In addition, more than 40 global investors and publishers attended as observers, showing strong interest in the rising potential of Korean indie games. Many praised the finalists for their technical capability, unique creativity, and strong prospects for global success.
Top Team Earns Advanced AI Pitch Support from Xsolla
The final team selected as #1 will receive a special reward:
AI-driven optimization of their IR deck using Xsolla’s advanced AI solutions, providing a refined foundation for negotiations with top-tier global publishers and investors. They will also receive priority business-matching opportunities for global expansion.
However, all participating teams benefit from this opportunity.
Every finalist will be officially registered in Xsolla’s Funding Club, enabling continuous exposure to worldwide investors and publishers, along with ongoing IR matchmaking support.
A Milestone for Indie Games Heading to the Global Stage
IndieCraft Joint Committee Chairman Hwang Sung-ik expressed gratitude to all studios and global partners:
“Despite the late hour, the passion from our developers and global partners was inspiring. Supporting Korean indie games as they enter worldwide markets is a tremendous honor. We will continue helping outstanding Korean indie titles cross borders and reach wider audiences.”
With the 2025 program now complete, the IndieCraft operations team is shifting gears toward next year’s preparations. According to the organizers, IndieCraft 2026 will feature even more robust support programs, expanded acceleration tracks, and deeper infrastructure for studios aiming to scale globally.
