A Journey of Healing: Award-Winning Emotional Adventure ‘Sohee’ Launches on Steam and STOVE

한 인간의 내면을 진지하게 들여다보게 되는 조용하지만 깊은 여운을 남기는 스토리 중심 인디 게임
    By Editorial Team2026년 03월 31일Updated:2026년 04월 24일3 Mins Read
    • The Narrative: A poignant story about love, loss, and the journey toward self-discovery.
    • The Pedigree: Recipient of 4 major awards including the BIC Social Impact Award and Unity Social Impact Finalist.
    • The Experience: A “point-and-click” adventure focused on internal emotion rather than complex mechanics.
    • Launch: Available now on PC (Steam & STOVE) with a 10% launch discount.

Every once in a while, an indie game comes along that prioritizes the human heart over high scores. Today, Digital Touch and developer TwoDpix officially released Sohee, a narrative-driven adventure that has already captured the attention of major indie festivals for its profound social and emotional impact.

    The Resilience of a Dreamer

The game follows the life of Sohee, a young woman who grew up in a single-parent household, carrying a quiet void left by the absence of affection.

    • A New Beginning: Aspiring to be a musical actress, Sohee enters university to chase her dreams and finds a new rhythm in life—complete with new friends and a budding romance.
    • The Turning Point: However, life’s unpredictability soon catches up with her. Players must guide Sohee as she navigates unexpected setbacks, forcing her to revisit her past memories and reconcile with her current emotions.
    • The Goal: There are no monsters to slay here. The objective is simply to help Sohee find her smile again through reflection, forgiveness, and growth.

    “Immersion Without Explanation”

TwoDpix has designed Sohee around a unique philosophy: minimalist storytelling.

    • Organic Discovery: The game provides no explicit tutorials or overbearing narrators. Instead, players find meaning by interacting with objects in Sohee’s room, exploring quiet environments, and engaging in subtle conversations.
    • Visual Poetics: The 2D pixel art is meticulously crafted to capture the textures of everyday life. From the soft glow of a desk lamp to the melancholic atmosphere of a rainy street, every frame is designed to resonate with the player’s own sense of nostalgia.
    • Dynamic Emotions: While the story is concise, the emotional weight is heavy. Depending on how players interact with the world, the nuances of Sohee’s internal journey shift, making every playthrough a personal experience.

From Graduation Project to Global Stage

The origin of Sohee is a testament to the passion of the next generation of developers. TwoDpix began as “Team Anemone,” a group of students from Dongseo University’s Game Department. Like the flower that changes meaning based on its color, the team wanted to create a game that reflected the multifaceted nature of human emotion.

What started as a graduation project eventually evolved into a polished commercial title, earning early recognition at festivals like the Busan Indie Connect (BIC). The transition from students to professional developers is mirrored in the game itself—a story about the growing pains of early adulthood.

    Available Now

For those who enjoy “cozy” games like Unpacking or narrative-heavy titles like To the Moon, Sohee offers a brief but deeply moving experience. A free playable demo is also available for those who want to experience the atmosphere before diving into the full story.
