Com2uS Holdings announced on the 9th that it signed a business agreement with the Gyeongnam Culture and Arts Promotion Agency to discover creative game talent and support promising game companies in the Gyeongnam region.
Com2uS Holdings attended the “2025 Gyeongnam Content Fair,” hosted by the Gyeongnam Arts and Culture Promotion Agency, and held an on-site signing ceremony. Choi Seok-won, CEO of Com2uS Platform, a subsidiary of Com2uS Holdings, and Kim Jong-bu, President of the Gyeongnam Arts and Culture Promotion Agency, attended the signing ceremony, reaffirming their shared commitment to strengthening the Gyeongnam region’s gaming industry ecosystem.
Under this agreement, Com2uS Holdings will collaborate with the Gyeongnam Culture & Arts Promotion Agency to discover indie game developers in Gyeongnam and foster an efficient development environment. Building on this foundation, Com2uS aims to spur the growth of the Gyeongnam region’s gaming industry and foster a sustainable creative ecosystem.

Meanwhile, Com2uS Holdings is actively working to expand the domestic indie game ecosystem. Recently, Com2uS Holdings signed a global publishing contract with the winner of the “Game Challenge” contest, which was designed to discover new games with innovative ideas, and is currently supporting the launch of the game. Furthermore, Com2uS Holdings was selected as a new leading company for the Korea Creative Content Agency’s 2026 Indie Game Support Project, and is participating in strengthening the support system based on public-private partnerships.

The Gyeongnam Culture & Arts Promotion Agency is promoting the development of the local indie game industry, centered around the Gyeongnam Global Game Center. It operates various support programs to revitalize the local game ecosystem, moving beyond the Seoul-centric game industry structure. The agency is developing a blueprint to transform Gyeongnam into a new hub for the game industry.
The center, which opened in 2024 with 12 companies, is currently home to 14 active companies. These companies range from established game development companies like Playmephisto Waltz, Gonggam Orae Contents, Aftertime, and Jellysnow, to startups just taking their first steps.
