    The international game exhibition ‘G-Star 2022’ has safely completed its four-day-long journey.

    ‘G-Star 2022’, hosted by the Korea Game Industry Association (K-GAMES) and jointly organized by the G-Star Organizing Committee and the Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency, was held in Busan for four days from November 17th (Thu) to November 20th (Sun). It was held at BEXCO.

    This event, which prioritizes the safety of visitors, is a thorough preliminary inspection with the host company, host city, and related organizations (police and firefighting, etc.), a safety management plan, thorough site management, and active cooperation from exhibitors. We were able to successfully finish ‘G-Star 2022’ without a single safety accident.

    For the first time this year, as the BTC Pavilion was expanded to not only the 1st exhibition hall but also the 3rd floor of the 2nd exhibition hall, visitors were greeted with more content and attractions, and at the same time, safety was promoted by inducing dispersion.

    In Exhibition Hall 1, WeMade, which participated as a diamond (main) sponsor, introduced ‘Night Crow’ and ‘Legend of Ymir’, two of its most anticipated games, and ‘The Wemix ecosystem’ where you can indirectly experience future game contents that WeMade is drawing. ‘ was also introduced.

    Nexon Korea has created a demonstration space where you can experience 4 out of 9 new games, including ‘Mabinogi Mobile’, ‘Dave the Diver’, and ‘The First Descendant’, with the title ‘Return’. He worked hard to communicate with fans on set.

    In addition, with the new games of each company, the heat of the field increased. Netmarble welcomed fans with various games such as the new ‘Alone Level Up: ARISE’, ‘Paragon the Overprime’, and ‘Arthdal Chronicles’, and Kakao Games’ new ‘Guardian’s Order’ and ‘Ares: Rise of Guardians’, ‘Distera’, etc., and prepared an experience space where you can directly demonstrate games, and ‘Archie Age 2’ was released as a surprise, drawing a great response. KRAFTON prepared a space to demonstrate the new ‘Callisto Protocol’ for the first time in the world and at the same time, attracted the attention of visitors by providing various events and experiences.

    On the 3rd floor of the 2nd exhibition hall, Flint, which has a large fan base for its unique game quality, unveiled ‘Become a Star 2’. Neowiz and HoYoverse, which unveiled ‘Collapse: Star Rail’ and ‘Genless Zone Zero’, etc., organized large booths and presented various contents.

    According to the safety management plan, ‘G-Star 2022’ focused on managing the number of people simultaneously accommodated inside and outside the exhibition hall, and as the detailed number of visitors by date was not counted, it was estimated based on the number of indoor and outdoor people managed during the event. As a result, ‘G-Star 2022’ is estimated to have visited the exhibition hall this year with about 184,000 people over 4 days.

    The online broadcasting of ‘G-Star TV’, operated at the same operating hours as offline events, started with 216,661 unique viewers (UV) on November 17th (Thu), the opening day, followed by 195,839 viewers on the 18th (Friday) and 297,451 viewers on the 19th (Sat). , On the last day, the 20th (Sun), 260,000 people (estimated) were counted, and about 970,000 people enjoyed G-Star together online for 4 days.

    The BTB Pavilion, which was prepared on the first floor of BEXCO Exhibition Center 2, was held offline and online for three days from November 17th (Thursday) to November 19th (Saturday). In the BTB Pavilion (313 booths in 2021, 847 booths in 2022), which expanded its booth size by more than 2.5 times compared to the previous year, 1,748 paid buyers registered on the 1st day, 405 on the 2nd day, and 60 on the 3rd day, an increase of about 60% compared to the previous year. It recorded an increase of 2,213 (1,367 in 2021).

    The G-Star Conference (G-CON), which was held with 44 sessions (4 keynotes, 40 general sessions, 4 tracks), updated the maximum number of visitors based on the highest level of speaker lineup ever and the total number of attendees per session for 2 days, approximately 6,500 recorded the name.

    In line with the normalized exhibition program, various side events were also held. On November 19 (Sat), the ‘Game Job Concert’ was held, which is a place for game companies to communicate with future gamers who are curious about them. It was held over two days (Sat) to the 20th (Sun).

    In addition, during the G-Star event, WeMade operated an outdoor booth at the Haeundae event plaza in Busan at the same time and welcomed fans outside BEXCO, and various special exhibitions and events such as Nexon Korea’s ‘Kickoff Festival’ were held at the BEXCO Auditorium. was held.

    Kang Shin-Cheol, chairman of the G-Star Organizing Committee, said, “Thank you to all the related organizations who helped us to establish G-Star’s safety management plan and effectively implement it at the site.
