Seongnam City, the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency, and the Korea Mobile Game Association announced that they will simultaneously host the ‘GXG 2026 x INDIECRAFT Collaboration Exhibition’ and the ‘2026 Connect Fair: K-Game Export Consultation’ in Pangyo from Friday, September 11 to Saturday, September 12.
The two events are designed to support the growth and global expansion of domestic small and medium-sized indie game companies, linking an exhibition showcasing domestic indie games with business consultations with overseas partners on the same day in Pangyo.

GXG 2026 x INDIECRAFT Collaboration Exhibition – Pangyo Tech One Tower, September 11–12
‘Indiecraft’ is Korea’s representative indie game festival hosted by Seongnam City and co-organized by the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency and the Korea Mobile Game Association.
This year, an offline exhibition will be held at the special exhibition hall on the first floor of Pangyo Tech One Tower in collaboration with ‘GXG 2026’, a game culture event organized by Seongnam City.
Operating hours are from 1 PM to 6 PM on both days, and on the 12th (Saturday), admission is available from 11 AM. It is easily accessible, located a one-minute walk from Exit 1 of Pangyo Station on the Shinbundang Line.
The exhibition hall features 51 live booths with developers selected for Indiecraft 2026, allowing visitors to play excellent domestic indie games and interact with the developers.
A separate unmanned exhibition booth will also be operated to showcase works from the ‘Challenger Section,’ centered on university student teams.
In the ‘Brazil Special Pavilion,’ which is being organized for the first time this year, you can find four Brazilian indie games.
The participating studios are Venn Studios, 2Wedges, Coffeenauts, and Mito Games, and the purpose is to introduce Brazilian indie games to domestic visitors while providing an opportunity for exchange between indie game developers of both countries.
During the exhibition period, the second round of user evaluation (FGT) will also be conducted.
The results of actual users playing and evaluating the exhibited works are reflected in the selection of the Top 3 in the domestic category, and visitor feedback is incorporated into improving the game’s quality.
Approximately 38,000 visitors attended the Indiecraft exhibition last year.
– 2026 Connect Fair: K-Game Export Consultation – Gravity Chosun Pangyo, September 11
On the same day, the ‘2026 Connect Fair: K-Game Export Consultation Meeting’ will be held at the Space Ballroom on the first basement floor of the Gravity Chosun Seoul Pangyo Autograph Collection.
Connect Fair is a business program that supports global expansion, such as overseas publishing, attracting investment, and local services, by connecting domestic small and medium-sized game companies with overseas publishers and investors through 1:1 meetings.
About 30 overseas partner companies from the U.S., Japan, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Australia participated, and many companies with high demand for mobile game publishing and investment consultations were included.
Major partners include Cygames and Phoenixx (Japan), TapTap (China), DiGeam and Softstar (Taiwan), Gamota (Vietnam), APPGURU (Singapore), Kaigan Games (Malaysia), Plan A Games (USA), Entalto Publishing (Spain), and Behold Ventures (Sweden).
In Korea, about 80 excellent game companies preparing for overseas expansion, including developers selected by Indiecraft, applied to participate.
It is expected to be an opportunity for domestic game companies and overseas partners to meet extensively.
From exhibitions to export consultations, support for indie games at every stage of growth
Following its operation of a promotional booth at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany last August to introduce domestic indie games to overseas investors and publishers, Indiecraft combined an exhibition for visitors with consultations with overseas partners on a one-day schedule at this event in Pangyo.
It was designed to allow the developer to check the audience’s reaction and then proceed to business discussions with overseas partners on the same day.
Lee Ju-yeon, President of the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency, stated, “I believe the achievements of Indiecraft, which is expanding every year, are an example demonstrating the potential of the domestic indie game industry,” adding, “The Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency will continue to strive to discover outstanding companies and support their overseas expansion so that indie game developers with excellent capabilities can receive fair evaluation and grow.”
Hwang Seong-ik, Chairman of the Korea Mobile Game Association, said, “Indiecraft has served as a stepping stone for domestic indie game developers to meet users and expand into the world for the past 10 years.” He added, “This year, we are collaborating with GXG 2026 to enable more citizens to enjoy indie games, and we will support developers in achieving tangible results with overseas partners through Connect Fair, which is held on the same day.”
Admission to the exhibition is free, and event details can be found on the official Indiecraft website (www.indiecraft.or.kr) and the YouTube channel ‘2026 Indiecraft’.
